I don't usually do photo reviews but this dispenser is worth the effort! It has been an absolute game changer for me this Christmas. I know most people use this for wide tape but I wanted it for Christmas present wrapping as I've been endlessly swapping between normal sellotape and my (essential) sprout sellotape for years. No longer!! This fits two different sellotapes on at the same time and the wheels turn independently.I have held off buying this for a couple of years as was struggling to justify the price however now I have it I feel it was worth it - the quality seems great, the body is made of metal not plastic and it's nice and heavy so it stays put on the desk. The blades are very sharp for easy cutting every time and the guard is good for when it's not in use. I think I will be gleefully using this for years!

Even though other reviewers had said so, I was not convinced that the PRO-series BD50 Heavy Duty Tape Dispenser could be used one-handed. But it is true. The combination of the weight and the neoprene base, makes the tape dispenser rock-solid. Meaning you can hold a box lid closed with one hand, while running off some tape with the other. The dispenser does not drag or slide at all. Looking at the pictures before purchase, I thought the way the dispenser would work, is the cutter blade cover would be spring-loaded, and you would slide it open with the tape you were wanting to cut. But it does not work like that. The blade cover is a manual affair, that you slide open before using the dispenser, and slide back over the cutter blade when you are done. The middle raised plastic moulding is slightly proud of the cutter blade, so the packing tape sticks to it when you cut a piece of tape, and stops the tape end falling back onto the tape reel and getting 'lost'. It is such a simple idea, but it works beautifully. The spindle wheels are split 50/50. So you could also use the dispenser with two standard 'Sellotape' type tape reels. Recommended.

This product is really good.Does what it is meant to do. Won’t tip over or slide about. The cutter is extremely sharp, so be warned. I have two now , one set up for clear tape and one for the brown. Not the cheapest but the quality is superb and it does not slide around . Great value , highly recommended.

This is a great item.I do a lot of packaging so this item is great.It's heavy so its sturdy and has padding on the bottom.A bit expensive though.

Absolutely fed-up with 'strong' tape disensers that move around when trying to pull a length of tape off! Mine also have a habit of diving onto my floor - which is when their bases break. This dispenser is absolutely awesome with its steel body including its base.Double tape holders that can be used together for wide tape or individuallyfor standard-with tapes. For Heaven's sake, never let children near the cutting blade and always keep its red guard in place! Cutting is an absolute cinch and the dispenser is so stable it can easily be operated with one hand. An awesome 'machine' that should last for years. As far as I am concerned, it is just perfect.
