Unfortunately I’ve had to downgrade this review to 3 star. I’ve bought 4 of these fans now, and as another reviewer has commented, unfortunately they don’t last. Running them at night in the recent hot weather they last for about a month and then die. Still, not bad value for the price, but not a good use of natural resources and labour.I normally use the Arctic Breeze fans when I travel, the price of which has gone up to nearly £10. However, twice now one of the fins has broken off in my bag so I decided to give this fan a try. It is wonderful. It delivers probably about 30% more airflow than the Arctic Breeze. It is correspondingly slightly more noisy, but my wife and I don't find that an unreasonable price to pay for the extra power. I have not tested whether there is a correspondingly greater battery drain, but these fans draw very little power anyway and are limited by the USB's output. The fan blades are made of floppy plastic. That means they shouldn't be prone to snapping off. It is possible, however, that the relatively long drive spindle could bend, or the plastic might deform, causing it to wobble, but it is too early to say as yet whether such a problem will arise in the course of travel. For now, it's doing a great job on my desktop. I've just ordered 2 more as gifts. Lastly, the very best bit of the deal is the Chinese translation of the instructions on the back. Point 4: "The scope of application: a boring meeting, crowded flights and bad Taxi won't make you trouble." Point 5: "USB interface FlyFan provide strong and stable love for you." Don't you just love it! Thank you, China.

A bit of a wait, trekked all the way from Pandaland in a box and survived surprisingly well.When plugged into a power bank, usb or mains usb the fan spins at a constant rate but seems to resonate better with a 1A rather than 2A. Air movement is sufficient but I managed to increase movement volume by strategic careful gentle folding of the blades. Poseablilty a definite plus for orientation relative to the usb, fin for the kids too.Additional 06/19Build quality seems ok, but five months after arriving & being used regularly at the office, the device failed. When dismantled to effect a repair it was noticed that the motor was of the cheapest type so it being burnt out was no surprise. The brushes being rusty suggested the motors were sitting around for a while, they weren't meant to last long it seems.I cannot recommend this product. Better have been made and with up to date components, so spend a little more and buy one of them

This gave a nice cooling effect at my work PC and the bendable neck worked well. Longer would have been better though so check where your USB port is first.But, it stopped working after 1 month. I bought another and that lasted 5 weeks. So this is a waste of your money

Absolutely fantastic little fan.Easily angled from any USB port and very powerful.I'm actually amazed by the breeze it produces.Recommended purchase (and it's so cheap).Footnote, it takes quite a while to be delivered.

Great fan, with solid construction and soft blades. Moves a lot of air, but loses a star as it is a bit louder than other similarly sized fans, making a kind of clicky fan noise.

What an amazing fan brilliant I use it to call my sky box down it gets very hot but this does the job

Simple and effective. Adjustable neck could be slight longer as it's easy to catch the blades with your hand when using a laptop. The blades areightweight plastic so this does not hurt.

It feels like a hurricane and it works even with a portable power pack.
