This bed, Guard can be fitted in two ways, so it is always going to be high enough unless you have a double depth mattress in which case it may be too short, but if you fit it to the top of the arms, then it’s high enough for a normal Simba mattress. I have mine slid under a divan so it’s not fastened in place. However the weight of the mattress and the person in the bed hold it firm.Sometimes you need to look at this differently to find out how to make it work for you.

it is a really good idea for people who have mobility problems. it was no good for us as our mattress is to deep for it but it is a really good piece of equipment.
