Excellent and really works well!
I’ve purchased this twin pack 3 times now and find it a brilliant product. Yes if you sniff it up close, you can smell what I think is like bonemeal…. Going back to the days when my dad would put it in the garden soil etc. I hang it up outside my back door ( into the kitchen) on an archway just outside. I live in a very rural area near trees, I like to have my back door open all day in the nicer weather - and get a lot of insects in my garden. From Bees to spiders. It only attracts the flies and boy does it work super well! I get through 2-3 per summer and to be quite honest it’s fascinatingly gross as it fills up ha ha. I also got some for a neighbours son who has a dairy farm and they work brilliantly there too…. They make a big difference in the milking parlour. Well worth the money to really easy to set up…. Just fill up to just under half way with water and put the powder in and shake. Don’t forget to shake the bottle regularly to stir up the mixture as it settles to the bottom. We probably give it a shake daily when the door is open. No it’s not pretty, but I’d rather that - that a kitchen full of flies! If the odd fly does make it past the bottle….it soon leaves and finds the bottle and sayonara Mr Fly…. Wouldn’t wanna be ya!

Fly-huggers avoid… they work
They work ….. if a bit macabre. If you want to be green and environmentally friendly….. take a deep breath before you empty the contents when full and reuse with a (not supplied with initial sale) top up sachet. But, they really do work and fill up remarkably quickly (or for us in the countryside they do). If drowning hundreds of flies is your thing, these are for you… but not too many fly-huggers out there I guess and I’ve just placed a repeat order

Does the job but only one solution mix per bottle
It does the job. Put it out 2 hours ago - already have flys trapped inside.Little disappointed as I only got one solution mix per bottle. I should have purchased the single one for £5.99 - you get three sashes with that one.

Very effective fly trap
Apologise for the disgusting picture, but flies are disgusting, and this trap excels at killing them. This is my 2nd year of using it, I used it at the end of last summer and bought some refills, and have been using it for the past month, and this is how full it gets (I have 2).My neighbour or never picks up their dog poo and my other neighbour has a thousand cats, so there are flies everywhere and it's really horrible trying to enjoy the sun whilst having a drink and some food, with flies around trying to land on your food.Since these have been up, I've had a massive reduction in flies in my garden. You just fill it partly with water, like 300ml I think, and then empty one sachet into it, give it a whirl and a mix, hang it somewhere out of sight and not on a path or where you sit, and it'll just attract the flies.

Game changer!
The packaging states 24 hours to activate the bait but this started working straight away in our garden. Very impressed with how many flies have been trapped and killed in it so far, and it still has up to a couple of weeks use out of it. It can be placed anywhere and since it is square you can sit it on a surface instead of hanging if you prefer. I put mine on top of my garden bin and it has not blown off yet...but we haven't had high winds so might be something to bear in mind. I have only noticed a smell when within a metre of the thing and I have agitated it to catch the flies in the liquid from the top of the bottle (my own paranoia about the flies finding their way back out, I'm sure I don't need to). In my opinion a solid buy that I will definitely be buying refills for!

Works immediately, very happy
I bought this yesterday, and already it’s worked beyond my comprehension - I also hardly ever do reviews but this item works flawlessly. The photo I attached is less than 24 hours after setting the product up. We don’t live in an area with an immense amount of flies, but it still caught 40+ in 24 hours.

No trap included despite being led to believe otherwise.
Choose your option carefully, the actual trap only comes with the twinpack.I cannot comment on how well the product works and for this reason I will rate it 3 stars, once I have purchased a trap and tried it out I'll come back and update.Highly disappointed. I bought "reusable fly catcher" option. The others being twin pack or twin pack x 2. Under description it describes a fly trap with bait sachets and it tells you how to use it by emptying the sachet into the trap and adding water. Under product details it says it is made of plastic and gives dimensions relating to a sizeable product. When the item arrived, only 3 bait refills are included and no traps with which to use it! Upon questioning I was told that the listing is only for the refills despite the description and product details leading one to believe the trap is included! This also means there is no option to purchase a single trap, only a twin pack. I only need one trap!I'm wondering whether it would work by emptying the bait and water into a plastic bottle. I might try that before purchasing the twinpack. So do beware before buying this product that you are selecting an option that actually includes the trap!!!

Purchased multiple times as they work well.
These work great, nothing happens for a day or so and then they really work well. I put at the end of my garden as when used next to the back door you get lots of flys in the house, when you put 10 feet or so away from the house they keep the flies away.
