I'm not sure if I like the blue cast to the lighting but I do ...
I bought these to put around the apartment near where the litter boxes were hoping they would help kill the germs that contribute to the smell. I'm not sure if I like the blue cast to the lighting but I do think the areas are cleaner smelling... don't know how to prove its the bulb though

I couldn't afford an expensive light box to deal with my seasonal affective depression. This light bulb serves that purpose. I will keep at least one in my home at all times. (I'm pretty sure my plants think it's the sun!)

Ionlite Air Purifier
This product is supposed to rid the air of odors. It does not work. I am totally unhappy with this thing, but to get my money back I'd have to spend in postage what I'd get back, so I am stuck with this piece of no-good thing. It does give light, and that's all I can say for it.

Works as advertised
Very bright and you can smell the ozone, kinda like after a thunderstorm. In my opinion it works as advertised and worth the price. I use mine as a grow light as well and my plants seem to like it.

LOVE IT!!!
I was a little skeptical about paying this much for a light bulb but wow, just for the difference in the lighting it is worth it but the ionizer is the frosting on the cake, no it is not going to miraculously take away all the odors in your house instantly, use febreze for that, but it does emit ions, just put your nose next to the light and you can smell the difference. As the day goes on you can notice it farther away, that clean after a rain feeling. The only "con" I can find is that they are Large sized. Larger then the normal CFL bulbs so you need to make sure you have the space with whatever light fixture you are using. My floor lamp fit it perfect, the table lamp I have to rig the lampshade holder to allow the extra 1/2 inch but still works fine and you cannot tell the difference once it is together. I bought the 23 watts because I like a brighter room and the whiter light makes such a difference from the yellow tones of a regular bulb. The room looks cleaner, easier on the eyes for reading, tv etc. I cannot say enough about these, well worth $12 for a 10,000 hour bulb.
