The smart plug is just what I wanted. A way to switch on my bedroom Ac since the IR sensor was non functional. Of course there's no way to change the temperature and that's not what this product is for. Thankfully my last setting ( when the sensor was functional) is recognized by my Ac and it works at 24 degrees. Good enough for this weather. Also helps in scheduling a timer or an on and off loop. This is extremely useful to me as I dont have to get up in the middle of the night to switch on the above mentioned AC. The voice control with google home also works well. I guess my usage scenario is a unique one, the product is best used for geyser and water pump. Also van br used to schedule to switch on appliance before you get home....possibly the geyser or ac. The smarteefi app is the most user friendly and intiutive app that i used among all the smart aplliances app. It just works with out any hiccups and I was pleasantly surprised with the ease with which I could set it up and most other functions. The size is adeqaute and well within the dimensions of a wall plug adapter. It has an led indicator on the front for wifi and it connects only on the 2.4 ghz wifi. Make sure that's the wifi it connects to and everything else will work. Customer care is brilliant with a follow up after sales call to check whether everything is allright and that you have got all the settings correctly.. They also guide you in setting up voice control with Alexa as well as Google. Over all good experience. Excellent work smarteefi team

Review after 2 months of usage.It works well, setup was easy as long as you are able follow the documented instructions (for anyone who understands their wifi setup, it can be DIY). Though I didn't use their help, the support team proactively called up after delivery to help with any setup/configuration.The reasons I went with this product are1. No dependency on internet for scheduled on/off. I have another company's 5A smart plug which essentially gets switches off when internet connection goes off, many times fail to reconnects and needs manual intervention that defeats the purpose of automation.2. Ability to set a timeout after which the plug automatically turns off. Since this was for our solar heater's hearing coil backup, I wanted everyone at home to be able to switch it on from their phone (I used google home, but alexa should also work). But I can't rely on everyone remembering to turn it off, so an auto timeout setting provides both convenience and safety.3. It seemed to fit my 16A socket. Some cases where the switch is too close to the socket, such devices will push the switch when plugged in because of the width. This adapter had minimal width and is a suitable fit my socket and switch. But you may want to check this in your case before buying.4. Provides basic power consumption details from their app. I haven't been able to verify the accuracy of metering, but the usage timing (hours of usage) is logged correctly.Overall happy with the product and it seems to be of good quality to sustain 24x7 usage. Will update with this review with a longterm update in the future.

Great and very useful! Greatest thing is we are able to save a lot of electricity because after setting it auto turns off my geyser. Our Family used to leave the geyser for hours causing high bill. Now I don’t need to worry about switching geyser off, it turns that off for me automatically! Great and very useful product! Deserves 5 star!

I had purchased this smart plug for geyser.Once scheduling is set ,it works properly even if internet is down in between.This smart plug can be controlled by their smarteefi app as well by voice command by configuring google home or alexa app.There support team is cooperative and helps to resolve the queries in set up process.One thing to note before purchase, your appliances should not be placed far from your router otherwise you will face connectivity issues with your smart plug set up process. If your appliances are placed far from router then need to use wifi extender device to boost signals so that smart plug can work properly.

The smart plus works exactly as advertised on the product website. Setup is very easy & seamless. WiFi module loses signal strength if the plug is beyond 30 feet from the router. Makes it harder to use for geysers in bathrooms where WiFi signal strength is not strong. Bluetooth operation support could have been included to make it more robust (Qubo smartplug has this feature).
