I have a MacBook Pro with 4 USB-C ports. I wanted the ability to connect some old USB devices. I tried two devices like this that had a short cable to connect to the MBP. Every time I plugged or unplugged something, I would lose the connection to my external HD which was connected through the hub.I got this model because it fits flat against the computer and connects to two ports. I hoped it would be more stable. So far (2 months in) it has worked flawlessly. Very happy. No more unintended HD disconnects.May replace it with a more expensive one that includes HDMI (for full sized monitor) and Internet port. Currently using separate dongles for those. But this design has solved the disconnect issue.

This product is good. I did not leave my comment once I got it because I would like to try it and see if any problems. So far, I did not have any problems, works great, WIFI never disconnected, but you need to be careful when you try to lift up your Mac. It might bend it if you don't do it carefully. It will be a great stuff if this hub can be thinned a bit more. However, I am satisfied with this purchase and definitely will recommend this product to my friends.

I am very disappointed.. This product worked great up until a few days after it was covered for return/repair. The SD card slot is completely unresponsive, which is the main reason why purchased this product.. I really wish I could return or replace this product, mine is faulty. I really loved it when it was functioning properly, but I cant give a broken product anything more than 1 star.UPDATE*** the seller reached out to me and has offered to send me a replacement, even though the window for return has closed. Very grateful for the good service of this seller! hopefully the new product will work properly!

Used it for a few months. Not long at all. A total of maybe 10 times just my sim card. Broke and won’t read my SIM card or charger. Only my flash drive. Disappointed

I've bought a Mac USB C adaptor in the past that continued to not work well. It would connect and disconnect often. It had a cable that attached to the adaptor piece. Now having one that connects directly to my laptop is so much better and works when I'm doing work in the small airplane tray. Highly recommended.

This is the best way to get an SD Card Reader onto my Macbook Pro which has no ports other than USB-C

Was pleased at this purchase. It seems to warm up temperature wise when in use and never leave anything plugged for any length of time. Suits my needs well.

This product was used twice in two months, stopped supporting charging and Amazon says I have to go through manufacturer to get resolution, because I didn’t return within 30 days.... total waste of money
