Works great! Fixed my wife's phone just in time for a big trip.
So my wife dropped her white 6P on the concrete a few days ago and cracked the corner of the glass. She was freaking out because she thinks like most normal folks that phones are impregnable magical things nobody can repair and you just buy a new one every 2 years because reasons. After setting her straight that this is not the case and phones are just computers that also happen to make calls, I set about finding a replacement part for it. She had an upcoming trip planned and did not want to be without her phone. This one was easy to find, and while not cheap, it is much cheaper than a new pixel from google...If you're new to ripping guts out of smartphones, I'd highly recommend you not DIY this job. The 6P is not an easy phone to pull apart. Huawei tried their best to make this thing impregnable, but once you get past the tight tolerances and gorilla glue holding the battery in place, it's really not bad. All the screws are the same size and phillips, not the weird pentalobe stuff apple uses.Total repair time start to finish was around 1-2 hours. You need to take your time and make absolutely sure you got all the parts off the old assembly. Such as the vibrator motor and flex key for the side buttons. They are also glued on, but the gorilla is smaller thankfully. Be careful not to rupture the battery pulling it off the broken assembly. Nothing worse than a lithium fire in your kitchen while you're working on a buddy's phone. Ask me how I know this...This product is a direct replacement for a Nexus 6P phone. It fits correctly, and has the correct cutouts for the flex key on the side as well as the vibrating motor. If you replace the screen assembly, you will need to *carefully* remove those parts from the screen and transplant them to the new one along with the boards and jacks so just be aware of that if you're DIYing this. The tools and screen protector are a nice touch, but to be honest, the suction cup kinda well, sucks. It's not nearly big enough to break open the seal on the 6P. You'll need an iSclack, or a specialized exacto knife set and picks. I would have appreciated some fishing line and a plastic card much more than another set of tiny screwdrivers, but it's ok. Still a great part and it works just like new.Overall really satisfied with this purchase. If you need a replacement screen and digitizer for your 6p, this will absolutely work correctly for you. One point of clarification, if your glass is cracked, but nothing else is broken, it is technically possible to replace *just* the glass, however, it is quite difficult and the risk of damaging the panel is high. What I'd recommend is just buy this part, replace the screen assembly, and then work on the cracked screen to remove the glass after the repair. This way if you damage the screen, you already have a working phone in hand. And if you don't break the screen, sell it to recoup some of your cost or keep it as a spare for next time you fumble your phone onto the sidewalk.

Display and frame work fine, the phone is back to 99%
Display and frame work fine, the phone is back to 99%. The only thing I noticed with the new display is the front LED is dim shining through the new display. Maybe I missed removing a protective film cover??? If that's the case I owe Sphenel a star ;-)The tape holding the screen down to the frame is minimal, the screen will start to pop up pretty easily with a suction cup. This wasn't a factor for me since my phone lives in a case that contains the screen. It came with a good screen protector too. The included tools are a plus, It arrived on time :-)I had already damaged one of the retaining clips on my frame, sliced through the digitizer / touchscreen ribbon cable, and ruined both top and bottom back covers during removal to replace the battery. I didn't want to break anything else. I rushed the new frame and touch screen assembly. The new assembly arrived on time, and I carefully tore down all of the remaining components, and put them in the new frame. When I pried the AMMC RF connector up off the RF board the coax fell right out of the micro RF connector. I Wasn't even putting any stress on the coax. It obviously wasn't crimped correctly at the factory. Using a magnifying glass, needle and tiny needle nose I was able to take it apart, and re-crimp the micro RF connector back on the coax. I think that the RF connection is now better than original. I had the best upload speed I have ever seen on LTE after fixing the tiny RF connector. It is possible to lift both boards out without removing the RF coax. Mine would have most likely pulled out anyway.I wiped off the pink heat sink paste, and put a pea sized drop of Arctic Silver thermal compound in place. I put all the screws back in loosely, then alternatively started to snuke them down. This allows the paste to spread out properly.Recommend you take pictures before and as you tear down so you can verify everything when putting it back together in the new frame. The tiny side buttons were carefully/slowly pealed off using the smallest jeweler's flat blade. Be sure to look at several videos on Nexus 6p teardown and screen replacement. The new frame has all of the tape pads in place, just peal the red protective film off as you go.SPHENEL LCD Display And Digitizer Touch Screen Assembly With Screen Frame For Huawei Google Nexus 6P H1511 H1512 (With Frame)Sold by: Sphenel

Just like the original
I usually don't write reviews, but in this case I felt compelled because the product surpassed my expectations. Fist of all, let me start from the beginning. I own 2 Nexus 6p's. I broke my wife's screen while trying to replace the battery. I accidentally placed the knife between the screen and screen frame instead of the screen frame and the back cover. So in any case I ordered the screen from SPHENEL not realizing that the screen came preassembled with the frame. Saved me a lot of time and headaches! Just make sure to remove all components from the original screen frame and place them back on the replacement one. Most components are held with glue, and the screen frame comes with red tabs that you need to peel off where the components need to be put back. So it is easy to see how they are attached to the frame. Just be careful when detaching the components from the old frame particularly the speaker, microphone and side buttons. They come off easily from the original frame but again be careful and take your time. In the end I cannot tell the difference from the original and the replacement. I put both phones side by side and the screens look and feel identical. If I could give 10 stars I would.
