A mature dog groomer (I groom my own pup to save money) They were very sharp and comfortable to use. Excellent for the price.

The scissors are of decent quality with a smooth cut as far as I can tell. I've only used them once, and I'm no expert by any means (my first set). It's nice to have a case to store them, but getting them in and out was a bit of a pain. The side of the scissors have a large bolt that must slide under elastic. The sections intended for the tips to go into are very, very thin, and I don't see them holding up long. The case is a cardboard interior, I think, and was bent out of shape when I received it. There is an inner flap to prevent the metal of the scissors on each side from clanking together, but they failed in the design process there, as well, because it's not wide enough for the job, about an inch short. It is shipped with each scissor in its own plastic bag and the comb in a bag of a different type. I imagine this is intended to be temporary, but they are helpful for keeping the scissors from scraping together when closing it, since the flap doesn't, so I may keep them. Unfortunately, only two of them are the proper size to fit the scissors: one is too small, and the other is way too large and must be folded on each end to fit into the holder. And strangely only one of the four packages one came with a "band" attached to hold the top flap closed. Obviously, these don't hinder the use of the scissors and comb, but I have to deduct a star for the case and packaging.

These are great ! Being a former hairdresser, I have been using my old sheers to trim my Malshi, the sheers didn't work very well and it took me a long time to groom her. Then I got these and what a difference! They are super sharp and I love how they are rounded so I won't cut her. What a great buy and the price was great too!

Perfect set for what I need. I’m a first time self titled groomer practicing on my beautiful Bichon Frise. The handles are very comfortable, the scissors are sharp with rounded safety features. Highly recommend you try the scissors. You will be quite pleasantly pleased.

Zero stars. Shear fell apart as I was trying to loosen them for balance. Zipper was broken as soon as I opened the packaging. All of the shears have scratches on them on parts on parts that have nothing to do with sharpening. I just started grooming and wanted a cheap backup pair for when my good shears go out for sharpening. These do not qualify. The thinning shears took about five snips before I actually saw hair fall. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

The only ones I can use from this kit is the smallest and second to smallest. I like the curves for top knots, they seemed to have the perfect curve for Bichons and Poodles. The smallest are perfect for the face or getting to thise hard to get "sticky outties". The problem I encountered was that they aren't equally sharp through out the shears. So they will sharp in the middle but not the tip causing me to have to cut twice. Other then this issue they are worth getting. I'm hoping that sharpening them will make them perfect.

I’ve had these for about a month. I got them for my Shih-Poo. They are a nice variety with everything I needed. They come in a nice case. Most seemed sharp and worked well. The thinning shears did not seem sharp enough and pulled hair some.

Just received these and already used them to give my husband a haircut. They worked great, cut smooth with no noise, though a little short for a human head. Our Yorkie will have to get in line, I can't wait to use them on her. I wish I knew the name of the manufacturer so I could buy a longer pair for using on people.
