I ended up returning these, they didn't fit my 9 year old but it was a great item and I would try again in the future. We ended up going to Dick's Sporting Goods where he could try them on before I bought them.

Kid plays a lot of ball. 12 months of the year. These hold up. Trust me. They absolutely hold up.

My son is 11, small for his size…wears youth medium in regular pants. These knickers fit great, both in the length and waist. They do get worn at the knee from sliding, but that’s to be expected. Great value for the price!
