Great system

This is the second SMONET system I’ve purchased. The original system, purchased in 2017, was wiped out by a hail storm.The new system is phenomenal. The SMONET system is easy to install and provides a strong wireless connection to all cameras.The camera display is spectacular, particularly the night vision. The NVR software takes some getting used to but once you work with it, provides good control of the entire system.One feature not mentioned in the Amazon description is the spotlight. When a human approaches the camera at night, a series of very bright LEDs will turn on.The remote viewing app works great and gives you the ability to live view and playback on your phone.For those of you who need to mount the cameras on brick, there is a simple solution. Use a piece of pressure-treated pine wood and cut it to fit the camera mount. Using construction adhesive, mount the wood to the brick (place the adhesive on the wood and brick.) You can duct tape the wood to the brick so it can dry for 24 hours. Remove the duct tape and seal around the wood with a quality silicon sealant. You can then mount the camera to the wood (see photo).The SOMENT is a spectacular system for the money.

Don't waste your money on this product the dvr recorder keeps shutting down and fail to record.try to contact customer service and cannot get through to anyone. Try to email and get no response.

XMeye pro app is slow than Easy cloud before used

I have only had them installed for less than a week but they seem to work great. My only problem is that the two way communication does NOT work. Video quality is great. Set up is easy and phone app works good

Put it all together and tried to input a password and failed miserably. I called their tech support and within 4 hrs SHE texted me. We did a face to face call. She led me down the path to success within 30 min. End of my story. The detail is great on monitor, all eight cameras. Now to connect to modem and access from internet, following handbook which was included. The wife at home uses it as do our two sons who use it to check on their mom when they are not home. Wait. I installed the program on my computer to view the cameras. Had another problem and she also told me how to cure that one also. Very efficient she was. Would recommend this system definitely.
