This is a surprisingly great disco ball. Although smaller than it appears in photos, it can deliver attractive colored lighting across a moderately large room.What I wasn't expecting is how useful the remote is. The device is paired out of the box, and you can immediately use the remote to swap between various settings that take full advantage of the RGB lighting as well as a strobe option.Since the device is small and the package includes all mounting materials, setup is as simple as your ability to drill a screw into the ceiling allows.If you're looking to throw a party in a very large room, or want something professional grade, you'll want to look at some more expensive options. But at $12.99 this thing is a steal, even if just to provide some ambiance for a weekend hangout.

This Disco ball is great. I brought it to help with a school project....a 70s night club scene. It works better than i anticipated, it is small, easy to carry around and lights up the entire room. The remote however is really hard to open so i guess i won't be using that anytime soon..but it's still cool that the option is there just in case i'm able to open it one day. But yes this is an excellent purchase for the price.

This disco light for the price is amazing, it works for my son to sleep and he like playing with it with music. This thing changes with the music and the controller is easy to use all so the color is very bright. I posted picture so you can see this is in a lit up room, so you can see it's still bright and the span of the area is great this was on the counter and it's spread across my whole kitchen and dining room.

This unit is extremely small and lightweight, yet it produces a good amount of light output that can easily illuminate your average bedroom or living room. It's RGB lighting can be activated singly, a combination of two, or all three at once. The rotation of the lights is nice and smooth and the internal motor was surprisingly quiet. There is an automatic mode where it spins freely on it's own, or a music activated mode.One thing to note about the music mode is that the music/sound sensor on the back of the unit does not have good range. I tested it using my iPhone at max volume and had to have the speaker literally an inch away for it to activate. I couldn't get it to activate normally with my normal home theater speakers a couple of feet away. I guess it's not a problem if you're using this in a club, but I doubt that's why you would want it. With that said, when the sensor did detect the music, it pulsated/flashed/changed colors really well in tune with the music.This product also comes with a remote, but the one I received had the front cover falling off. I needed to pull the battery out, press the cover in, put the battery in, and keep holding the cover to be able to use it. The remote is definitely cheaply made. The controls are relatively easy to figure out, except for the bottom portion where it looks like you can control a media player. I guess you can connect it to something but the instruction manual is very basic with little information in that regards.For the price, you can't really complain and it's a fun novelty toy to have around. The cheaper build quality probably makes this a 3.5 star product but honestly, I feel like it works decently enough in it's normal mode. I would have definitely liked it to have a better music sensor to make it a bit more fun however.

ive had one for years use on major holidays and birthdays or just a pick me up its fun and i can twirl to it lol my friend just told me that you have to nail it to a board with it facing upwards or you cant see it on the ceiling but you can get a small piece if wood and nail it to that and he said everything else works fine on it he said

I was asked to review this product and I am so glad I did. I would buy this on my own just for fun. It is a $14.00 product. I have bought garbage for more than that. I posted a video on youtube for this at my PT3D page and while the video quality isn't the best, I do run through the light settings. I really have fun with this unit and while it was asked of me to review I am happy to have this in my office. I am trying to come up with additional uses for it in future videos.

This little light is just Awesome! And it's so cheap. Plug this little thing in ad you have an eye catching light show. We set it on a table under our RV awning. Turn it on and let it go. People in the campground come to see what is making the light show. When it gets dark, the show is on. It can be seen all over the side of the RV and awning. I'm going to buy at least one, maybe two more.
