Will not get bridle and break. I used them to fix a chain link gate that the dogs were pulling on. The dogs broke the plastic zip ties but the metal ones have held up.

These are solid zip ties with all the functions of plastic ones, much more strength, and a great deal at $7.50ish per 100.Wear gloves if you have tender hands or will be putting a lot of hand tension on them. These are metal, so unlike plastic, they can cut skin pretty easily. Gloves are also best if you're going to try to tighten them by hand, which will only go so well. At best, most men's hands can get a snug loop before it starts wearing.There are a lot of tools that can tighten these, the best of which would be a zip tie gun that has that one-only function. It alone can get you maximum torque. However, I've found a linesman's pliers to be to my suiting, though it will definitely reflect your forearm and grip strength. It gives all the grip that I need, gets these things very tight, and unlike a zip tie gun, has thousands of other uses. Other tools could include just about any kind of pliers. Some will be better than others.

Great value, easy to use, no issues at all.

These are so much better than the plastic ones. While more expensive, not really in the long run since the plastic breaks quickly in the Texas heat. I do recommend however to get the tightening tool. It will make life easier.

I use these for various things outside where plastic is not strong enough or the sun would ruin a plastic tie. I have even used them on quick fencing repairs with no issues.

Easy to use

Wear gloves though. The edges can be sharp. Wish I'd known about them earlier, multipurpose. Works well on wire fencing instead of those hard to fit clips.
