I am going to give 5 stars because I find it to be a very good quality lock. I did have some problems getting it to work, but once I got it installed the lock works well, it is very solid and I have a secure feeling about it. The software, which I had to get from the seller, is basic but it does what you need it to do. You can see the users stored and it logs every time the door is unlocked.I thing is important to note: there is not deadbolt, the lock operates only a latch and the top of the unit covers up most of where your deadbolt normally is. I had to remove the old deadbolt and fill the hole.because the lock doesn't cover it completely.My struggles with the installation were largely due to the product manual which in my opinion has some of the instructions not in proper order and some instructions use ambiguous language and reference things that are not in the product kit at all such as a tiny tool to access the manual lock (with a physical key) and the software to interface the lock with a USB cable.The general description of how the lock functions or operates is at the beginning of the book, preceding the installation instructions. Most people would not read about function until the installation has been done. After installation, there is a section called "Operation".So I installed and then began to read this operations section. I struggled immensely because it seemed so much was unexplained. You have to page back to pg 3 and read "Brief Introduction", then what follows later on will make some sense. I failed to do this for hours and was lost. Maybe it is just me! LOL!

Product worked for a fee months. But the fingerprint had several issues during colder months. Not good during the rain. Product is NOT for outdoor use. The support doesn't exist. They don't even attempt to read the email. I out a read receipt and it was never opened.

I spent the extra $$ to get what I thought would be a higher quality lock, and to be honest when it arrived it "felt" well constructed. Unfortunately with about 6 weeks it began to fail, interestingly just after the warranty period. I wrote an email, and they do not even have the decency to respond. IF you want to spend more to get less, less quality, less customer service, less responsiveness, then by all means.

Looks good and works well under normal environment.But in cold weather, there seems to be a problem with fingerprint recognition.Sometimes I cannot do my fingerprint recognition issue more than 6~7 times to succeed.I wonder if it is not recommanded to use it as door lock of outside.

I good but not for front doors.

Very good product and looks good in my door!!!It’s so nice to be worried about in wich pocket I left my keys when I have my hands busy.:)

This product is not very easy to program, and the use of the fingerprint never works the first try.
