Perfect for Storing Guitars in a Closet
Sturdy, well engineered, does the job and does it well. Assembly instructions were incredible weak but probably because anybody with half a brain can figure it out without them. My only gripe is that the prongs that hold the neck in place could be a little longer, I think some PVC and pipe insulation can address that issue. For anybody wondering, yes, this is shallow enough to fit in a standard sized U.S. closet although guitars on the extreme end of size may not be able to lean all the way back against the rear bar (my acoustic bass doesn't quite sit all the way back without the headstock bumping the wall, but everything else does).

Guitar family highly approves!🎸
My son owns 6 of these stands for his guitars. They are very good quality, set up in no time and are very well made. Comes with rubber over the legs so it won’t scratch your floors. Heavy metal so they don’t flip over. You can squeeze in 1-2 more guitars if you wanted to. The more guitars we buy the more we will order these stands. Great product!

does the job, could use a redesign
like most musicians & guitar players, i have WAY too many guitars (i have 2 under my bed, simply for lack of floor space). now coming from the punk scene & having mostly work horses that have suffered their share of abuse, i wasn't squeamish about having some of my guitars (my more expensive ones have cases) sitting on the floor, leaning against a wall or something. but doing that simply takes up too much floor area & obviously isn't 'stable'. (i never claimed to be smart! just a ghetto genius). i had only 2 single-guitar stands & 3 more guitars that lived on the floor leaning against my bookshelves & dresser. every few months when my ocd kicks in, i start moving stuff around & it was simply time to change my set up.this 5 guitar rack is by no means going to change the stand game. it does what it's supposed to, nothing more, nothing less. it's basic, affordable & you get what you pay for.however, there is room for product improvement, in 3 specific ways.1; the vertical neck bars are too vertical. they could use a few more degrees of backward angle to help keep the guitars balanced from wanting to fall forward & out.2; there are no straps or braces or anything to keep the neck within the braces. i am experimenting with 550 cord, old shoelaces & elastic bands tied to the divider pegs which i can slip off one end, hoping this will help against the imbalance of wanting the necks to stand more vertically than the divider pegs extend.and 3; i feel like the 2 bottom bars are placed poorly. specifically the rear bar. it's too close to the vertical bars, which i feel is the primary reason for the weight imbalance issue. if that rear bar were an inch or two closer to the front of the rack it would help. the spacing between front & rear bar could potentially use some measuring, but it's not a deal breaker as is. i grew up around tools so i can easily drill holes through the leg braces (i may yet try that), though from other reviews & my own handling, the metal does feel slightly week & i don't want to put undue fatigue on the rackoverall, i would say it's exactly what it looks like, an 'affordable' rack for your instruments. imperfect & in need of redesign, but if you're looking for something that won't hurt the wallet & does the job, it's a good investment. just be prepared to do some adjustments & preemptive safety measures.

Love it
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've been using this quite some time. Keeps my 3 guitars safe and I'm very pleased it.

It’s acceptable for just electric guitars
Feels somewhat sturdy but cheap. I couldn’t fit my acoustic guitar on it because the guitars end up needing to be angled. I’ve got 2 electric guitars on and a bass guitar in it and it’s acceptable for that. The base seems sturdy. I wish there was more support at the bottom.

Best for acoustic guitars
It's a nice solid unit but it does take a lot of space we're only holding three instruments. However, it's an excellent rack for those who have acoustic instruments because there's plenty of space.

It's fine
Seems sturdy enough. Holds 7 solid body bases... fewer acoustics will fit.
