I don't normally buy terrain, but the price...
Great price for this box. You will not find a better price/lb of GW modeling anywhere. Seriously, this box weighs a ton and has a ton of terrain and a board.

GW Terrain for Cheap
Purchased at $99.00, for GW Terrain this is a great price. Recommend prior to the future price hike to the typical 15% of GW website to $179.00 price tag.

Not bad for GW prices
Fronteris is a new terrain line from Games Workshop with some simple, practical wargaming terrain. This box has 2 sets of bunkers and stockade walls, a landing pad, a radar dish and an antenna tower for ~$200. Unlike some other GW sets the buildings are fairly generic, with few skulls or eagles and thankfully, they are also modelled as intact buildings rather than ruins. While it would not be hard to make ruins from this set, it is impossible to turn ruined terrain into intact terrain. The bunkers and stockades are the real stand outs, easy to build and paint and with a lot of practical uses. The bunkers dovetail together and have connectors that link them to the walls. They're nice, beefy industrial buildings and very solid, definitely the best and most practical bit of terrain in the box. My only complaint is they have big open windows and only enough shutters to cover about half of them. The bunkers come with 8 wall sections each around 5.5 inches (140mm), for 44 inches of walls that can be arranged in a line or in boxes. The walls do not lock together which is a bit annoying, but their bases are wide enough they should stand together well. The radar and antenna tower are nice objectives for a battle. The tower is a bit thin and does not have a base so it might be unstable. I'm thinking of adding some weight to the bottom of mine. The landing pad however gave me nothing but trouble. The parts did not fit well and even once it is done it is not a very inspiring piece of terrain, just a slightly larger box and not as nice as the bunkers.I would honestly say the bunkers and walls are the standouts. You can get 3 boxes of them for about the cost of this set and that might be a better buy if you're looking to do a fort or stockade. The antenna and radar are very nice to have but hardly essential and the landing pad was a disappointment. You might also find individual parts cheaper on the secondary market since Fronteris terrain are being included in the latest Kill Team box.Nonetheless you're getting a fairly good amount of terrain for a reasonable price for GW terrain, it's not a bad buy.
