So far I have used it a lot and have had no trouble with it. Works great!

So far, so good. I use this a lot. I have had it for two months and have used it almost daily. Easy to clean; I mostly just rinse out the pull-out basket with hot water. Nothing sticks. The instructions were most likely written by someone who learned English as a second language so it was tricky to figure out, but it is darned easy to operate.1. Press and hold the power button at the bottom of the display until it comes on.2. Press the up and down arrows on the right of the display until you get the amount of cooking time desired.3. Press the up and down arrows on the left of the display until you get the cooking temperature desired.4. Press and release the power button at the bottom of the display and you will hear it come on.You can now just walk away and it will ding, ding, ding and quit cooking when the desired time limit is met. If you just leave it alone after it finishes cooking, the power will shut off automatically after 5 minutes or you can press and hold the power button at the bottom of the display and it will shut off.Depending on what you are cooking, you may wish to pull out the cooking drawer halfway through, shake the food around a bit, and slide the drawer back in. It will momentarily quit cooking while the drawer is out and will start up automatically when you reinsert the drawer.

Pretty good off brand AF!

**Updated** have moved this down to 2 stars. got this in January, I only use it about 3x a week on average and the non stick has started to peel in the catch pan, its only a matter of time before the basket does and I don't have a dishwasher so its only hand washed. The unit has gotten so hot at even set at 320F that I had to pull the plug out let it cool down to reset it, the controls were not responding to touch at all. and it is well ventilated, nothing blocking the rear or bottom rear ports. When it works, It is a pretty good product, does Sweet potato fries very well as well as some of the tenderest marinated chicken I have had outside Sous Vide. I wish it had a bit higher wattage so that it could almost flash broil/sear. I gave it a 4 star rating since the fact that you need to keep shaking the basket to keep the food at the edge from burning. I use it at least every other day. I have noticed as it warms up there is weird noise that gets repetitively slower and stops once at desired temp. Only time will tell if this unit lasts.

I thought this was going to be great item, however it quit working after just 4 months. It no longer heats up, I will see if they cover it via customer service

Would not buy again.

For the first time ever.... made some wonderful double breaded pork for some fantastic sweet and sour pork with very little mess and even less oil. It took all of 20 minutes of cooking to double bread the pork (cooked twice for 10 minutes each time). Next up was homemade french fries. They turned out perfectly crispy because I coated them with cooking spray and cooked them a couple minutes longer than the book calls for. The trick is to not overfill the basket - not even close to filling it. One large potato was all I put in there. But the more you throw in there, the more you will have to move it around for even cooking. But then I noticed another odd thing about this device. The recipe book often calls for putting the food in a bowl and putting the bowl in the basket (see pork tenderloin recipe). But the unit does not come with such bowl. Which begs the question: what kind of bowl to use? I've never seen a casserole dish small enough to fit in the basket. Nor have I seen any other bowl 1: small enough to fit, 2: deep enough to hold much, and 3: safe for oven use. Seems to me, if such a bowl exists, Aigerek should let us know.I ordered a Luminarc Robin Shea Casserole with Lid (Set of 1), 1 L/1 quart, Luminarc Robin Shea Casserole with Lid (Set of 1), 1 L/1 quart, White It fits ONLY if you remove the basket (and handle) and set it directly inside the drawer. Oddly, the heat remains inside with minimal leakage and only a small chance of getting burned if you're not careful pulling the drawer out without the handle. The handles are too wide to fit inside the basket, and sit too high to slide in the fryer. To fit inside the basket and have the basket slide in properly, you would need to remove the handles.Meanwhile, I tried some BBQ short ribs in it. I'm used to slow roasting short ribs to tenderize them. But this fast cooking method won't do that. In other words, if you want tender - buy tender. You're not going to turn tough to tender by air frying. But I did get a wonderful charring, even better than I usually get on a grill. In fact, this air fryer is fantastic for char broiling.Update - just 30 days after the Mfg. warrantee expired, it quit working. There is a safety switch that the basket presses when properly inserted, so the unit cannot be turned on without the basket in place. But that switch is starting to mess up. It seems I need to find and repair/replace that switch. Also, the non stick coating is very thin and is beginning to flake off. Further, the plastic cover over the basket removal button broke off. This thing is falling apart far faster than I ever expected for something this expensive.

Not with the effort

I don't know if I got a bad one or what but it takes FOREVER to cook even the most basic thing. Made french fries in it once, it took two hours to make enough for my 4 kids. I waited too long to try it the first time and no longer see an option to return it. Used it once, won't use again.

Great Air Fryer but Don't Expect the Same Flavor as Deep Fry

Air frying is different, don't kid yourself. Onion rings must be fried for real, in my opinion. I have just ordered a cook book dedicated to air frying because it is a new skill for me.But even on my own so far I have had good luck. I just made a great single-serving crust-less quiche on-the-go for my breakfast while my coffee was brewing. You should buy a pair of plate grippers to remove items that cook in a dish.My only complaint: I wish it had an on-off button because, to stop it midstream, you have to force the timer to zero.

Avoid avoid avoid

I would caution anyone that is looking for an air fryer, to avoid this brand. I've had this for less than 2 months, never used anything abrasive whatsoever on it and the protective coating inside the unit is bubbling and chipping, getting black chemicals in my food. It's essentially now a useless unit so no matter what sort of deal/discount it was purchased at, doesn't matter. I will be requesting a return, even though I'm a few days outside my return window. This is the sort of thing that simply should not be happening.
