For the real Disco fans Ben Liebrand has selected the best 12-inches from the disco era. Moreover, he ensures that only the best available recordings are used so that the quality of the CD is excellent. For Grand 12-Inches, Vol. 14 special extended versions are selected from top artists such as Earth Wind & Fire, Donna Summer, Chic, Ashford and Simpson, Shalamar and Cher. But again there are also 12-inches that have never appeared on CD before, such as "Dis Go Dis Way, Disc Go Dat Way" by Mother's Finest and "Can I Be with You Tonight" by Steven & Sterling.

Great Series Classics
As A DJ i have a lot of these songs on VINYL and I have not converted them over to my computer to DJ with, so with this series it's the next best thing. Besides using them for parties I am a big fan of this series. LOTS of classics and yes some are only album versions but even with that said its a good series. I can't wait to see what other classics they pull out for vol 15

Another smash hit from Ben. He clearly states that his mission is “to preserve those extraordinary 12’’ versions in optimal master quality”. So, this collection is not about finding rare songs, but to transferring those gems into digital. Thank you Ben, you are accomplishing your mission very effectively.

For those who like long versions
For those who like long versions, this is the series for us to enjoy. I was looking for "One night in Bangkok" in its long version for long time, and finally I found it, I LOVE IT.

Good compilation, but...
Yes it is a good compilation with some hard to find tracks. My criticism is around some tracks that you can find in many other CDs or the artist album itself. Deserves the purchache spite of the price.

Ein Muss für jeden der die Musik aus der Zeit liebt, leider ist auch ca 65 % Müll drauf.Müsst ihr entscheiden, aber ich suche leider immer noch die Musikperlen die der D.J. damals auflegte und ich freu mich über jede die ich finde.
