Freeplay Indigo Lantern with Emergency Charger, Yellow

This is one of the best hand crank lanterns money can buy. Long burn time per crank. Much better than a lot of others on the market. The two ports for charging, one for solar charging the lantern and the other useing the lantern to charge other devices like phones are English as in UK, God save the Queen, English. Minor adaptor cables made mine compatible with the Solar Orange Joos for charging the lantern (too lazy to crank) and allowed me to charge my Samsung phone and tablet. Plus, I'm not sure if this company is still doing this but, at one time for every Lantern purchased they would donate one to a child in Africa who had no electricity in their home. These kids were doing homework and reading by fire light. Ya got to love the ideal of helping to save a child's eyes from strain and helping them learn and live all at the same time. If they've stopped doing it, we as consumers should encourage the company to do it again. I own four (4) and used them every night for seven (7) months. Never a failure. They held up to some of the worst camping could throw at them and when charged, are just as bright as when new. I trust these lanterns so much I gave them as Christmas gifts to my Mother, parent-in-laws and kids. When the lights go out this should be your hand crank of choice. Buy one for every room in the house and put your kids to cranking when the lights go out.

This is a great lantern. Very bright and well made. Requires minimal cranking for long lasting light.I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a crank powered emergency lantern.

A must have for emergency lighting. We now have one for each room. And they hold a charge for months.

Pretty damn cool

Terrible. Does not come with charger. Cord doesn't fit recharging port and other end is a strange USB that doesn't fit and adapter

This is a great crank lantern. I have owned one for a few years now. It has been my go to lantern for everythingbut I bought it mainly for camping. It is light and easily packable. The initial charge last a a remarkable amount of time and can be hand cranked for additional lighting. So that brings me to why Am I giving this product two stars. Let me make it clear; I have the discontinued green modal and have had it three years. My problem is the customer service. I have sent multiple emails regarding the lantern housing and how it shattered on me while pressing the on button and not once have I had any response from them. The lantern still works and is in great shape I just wanted to know if I could purchase a new cover or if they could repair it. Customer service should be given to all customers.
