4 Pcs Sea Urchin Air Plant Jellyfish Lot/Kit Includes Plants, Shells, and Hanging Accessories, Gift Box

These came in the smallest little box with 'the cutest packaging ever' when you open it up! Extremely darling!!Two of the air plants seemed very dry and not very green at all. The other smaller two were good.I soaked them in room temperature water for several hours.It is a little tedious trying to hang them up. I couldn't get the silicone thread to stay knotted and decided to just use white thread which knotted well to tie the air ferns to the thread and the S hooks to the thread for hanging.I hung them in my bathroom near the sink and a big mirror. I fill the sink up every day with very hot water to release some nice steam and humidityfor them. I have five vanity lights above the mirror that put out enough daylight from the LED daylight of 5000K bulbs - very good for use of plant grow lights.The two dried up air ferns have now turned green and some of the pink color is shining through, too.

Beautifully packaged, and looks just like what is pictured - the sea urchins and plants were carefully selected so that each plant fit perfectly. The plants were healthy, and I followed their care instructions. I haven't decided where to hang them yet, but they came with plenty of hanging line (stretchy monofilament line like you use for jewelry) and little plastic discs and hanging hooks to keep the line anchored well to the urchins and will make them easy to hang. The colors and shapes of the urchins are just like the pictures - these are very sweet little plants, and I am looking forward to ordering more for Christmas gifts. The seller is wonderful to work with - they sent me instructions for care before my shipment arrived, and kept track of my order for follow up. This was a tremendous bargain given the quality of these fun little jellyfish plants and the solid packaging. I highly recommend them!

I was happy to receive the air plants sooner than expected. But then i noticed one of the shells was broken which was disappointing. I was able to glue it back together though. Some of the plants looked a little crushed and misshapen, but i think they'll straighten out with time. The assembly took some time and patience. It took me about an hour including gluing the shell back together. When i finally got them up though i was pleased with how they looked. I'm happy with the outcome. I just hope the plants will survive for awhile.

These are very cute once assembled. A few notes:The colors are nowhere as vibrant as pictured. The urchin shells are still pretty but much more subdued.That clear line is not so great to work with. Threading it through the shells, tying it. The knots didn’t want to stay tied and one of the assembled jellyfish did fall after I hung it(surprisingly did not break.) It felt a little like a Pinterest fail but....I did finally get them securely assembled and hung, photos included.

I received the items in a very well packed box. All the shells were in perfect condition, and the little air plants were under a separate partition. One of the plants, a very fine, delicate-leaved type, looked DOA, but I put them all in a bowl with tepid water to rehydrate and it came back to a very respectable condition (I left the problem child in the water overnight, and it appears to have welcomed the extra hydration. If your water supply contains chlorine/chloramine, try using bottled water or get a small bottle of water conditioner that you would use for fish tanks to remove the offending chemicals. It may be overkill, but plants, ALL of ‘em!, seem to do better without chlorine). They add a lot of visual interest to my windowsill garden, and look like they’re suspended mid-air. If you’re into the “strange and unusual”, these would be a very interesting addition to your collection.

I have never written a review but I don't want anyone else to go thru what I did with this item. I had bought air plant jellyfish a few years ago and had a great experience. However, I couldn't remember who I ordered from so I went with this one. First of all, they came without the hooks to hang them on! Kind of pointless but an honest mistake. I contacted the seller on December 17th (the day they came) and asked her to ship the hooks ASAP because this was a Christmas gift. Well, the hooks never came. I had to go to Home Depot and buy my own on Christmas Eve. As far as the plants, I followed the instructions and soaked them in water for an hour, but when I took them out one of them was already so dead that it completely fell apart so I was left with an urchin and no plant. I had to go out into the woods to find an airplant! Can't believe I paid nearly $20 for 4 tiny urchins and some dead air plants, not to mention having to buy my own hooks.

Product arrived days earlier than expected which was great. Product came in a very well padded and protected box. All 4 sea urchins shells look exactly (color and patterns) like the photo shown in the description. The 4 plants looked good, a little dry, as expected and as soon as I soaked them in water (per instructions) they perked up and looked very healthy. All supplies were provided as promised to hang and secure the plants in the shell. Directions were provided with descriptions and pictures. Very happy with product. Before I bought these, I went to 2 local nurseries to check out prices and quality. It would have cost me $22-$29.00 just for the airplants. I could not find any local retailer that sold sea urchin shells. Buying the separate on Amazon would have cost more and would not provide the variety of shapes and colors I wanted. This is a very good deal for $18.95!!!

It is packaged layed out in a box that makes it gift worthy right from the start. The shells are cute, just colorful enough, and constructed well. The plants arrive looking like they need care (as expected) and within a few hours of soaking (as recommended) they look even better than pictured! Once hung they are nice quality indoor air plants that receive awesome comments from everyone! Easy to care for and no mess. I first saw one like this in a local nursery- researched them on line and found these. The cost of this set of 4 was less than the cost of 1 in the nursery AND these look much nicer. Make a great unique gift for all ages.
