A perfect store cupboard staple. Great flavour.

Upon opening the can I could tell immediately that these were going to be good, as they are evenly coloured, evenly sized at the medium/larger end of the scale for chickpeas and had a pleasant chickpea aroma which is not always the case for a canned product.They are just Italian chickpeas in water. When added to your cooking they have a soft, even consistency and taste great.They are so-good that you could easily use these cold in a salad.I cannot remember having any better than this from a tin can.Will be buying more and am happy to recommend.

Why to buy expensive bean s the taste is same

This is one of the best quality chickpeas I have ever tasted. No preservative taste and very soft. Made some Indian curry out of it and it was yummy.... Amazon - Don't change anything about the product

Much better quality chick peas than Sainsbury’s or Tesco. Very pleased and have repeat-ordered. Chickpeas are an amazing source of low fat protein.
