They work
This device works. I had been losing as much as 15 chickens and 12 ducks in a month using temporary electric fencing. I have been using this device for close to a month now along with a similar device and a very bright blinking flashlight. I have not lost a chicken, guinea, rabbit, duck or goose since I started using these lights. Also, the deer are not chewing on my peach, apple, pear and plum trees. I hope it keeps them out of my okra this summer. I lost a number of okra plants due to deer eating them. I will be buying more to expand my area. I can see the deer with my night scope about a eighth mile from my field at night.

Would you believe they work!!!!
I put two of these out! No more plants were chewed on. They actually started growing again. Neighbors had trouble too, so gave them 2 also another neighbor, gave them 2. They kept the deer out of our gardens. I am almost sure they worked on the ground hog too.7-7-2024 I would like to add to my review. I saw several that said it didn't work and would like to ask if they put the Animal repellar at a level where it would be for a skunk, raccoon, ground hog, rabbit. The eyes flash on and off to startle. If they eyes are not on the level of the animal I would think they probably would "just walk by". I know the deer have not had a chewing session for quite awhile now. I have had these out pretty much all of one year. My Peach tree actually has grown and so has my sedums. I have another and might try a lower level as I do have groundhogs, chipmunks and rabbits around. Just to see, if putting them at a lower level helps. Now if I just could get something for those darn Moles, I would be so happy!

They don't work - don't function realistically and have no motion detection
They are about the size of a squirrel and that is not going to scare anything away. They blink way too fast and are not realistic. I placed several around my yard and fish ponds and they are totally ignored by two raccoons, squirrels, birds and a wood chuch. Completely useless. Doesn't anyone test this crap before they sell it?

Good idea, but think Racoons too smart
Worked for awhile.

So simple to install!
These are fantastic! Have had a skunk problem. Placed them all over in problem areas, so far not more skunk activity that we have noticed. Also placed on chicken coops. So simple to install.

They seem to work
We have a yard surrounded by woods and a stream near by. Over the years, new houses have been built so my USMC markmanship skills which I used to be able to employ as a means of varmint control have been somewhat retired, leaving us open to becoming a feeding stop. Feeding what? Deer, deer, more deer. Wood chucks. Turkeys and other birds who love my blue berries and raspberries. We also have a flower bed which apparently has become the neighborhood buffet for rabbits and chipmunks. Anyway , a friend suggested this sort of deterrent so I installed these lights all over and they seem to be working. Too early to tell if the critters will get used to them but time will tell. I simply put the device on a 3-4 stake by tomatoes (deer feeder) and a 1 ft stake near flowers (rabbits et al) . Be prepared for a freaky night time light show. Bright flashing red lights seem to do the trick. If you got critter problems, I would give these a try

Noticed Results Immediately and Makes a Great Garden Night Display
I have several species of nocturnal animals that love to dig around and in some cases excavate small and new plantings. This repeller succeeded in putting a stop to it. The animals might dig around the perimeter mulch, but that's about it. It's not totally necessary to attach to each plant, I've found just mounting repellers to a stake covering all directions is enough to protect an entire area of plants. A nice bonus is an interesting night display, and the repellers are inconspicuous in daylight. You're going to have to get creative placing them in areas shaded or blocked by foliage, as they might not get a full charge. They do handle cold and rain as advertised. Blink rate slows a bit in cold weather less than 45oF.

No effect whatsoever on deer
I bought a box of 18 of these, total waste of money, should have tried one out first. I have a trail cam for view and deer walk right up to them, no deterrent at all. I should have read closer, thought they would be motion activated and have a sonar tone for this price, instead they just have two small flashing red lights that are on full time in the dark.
