It is a great match for my laptop, which ensures that the installation procedure will go without a hitch. When it comes to laptop batteries, having the certainty that they are compatible with the device is really important, and this replacement certainly delivered in that regard. After giving it a full charge, I discovered that the battery life lasted considerably longer than the one that came with the device (which had been used up). I used to have to continuously worry about finding a power outlet in order to use my MacBook Pro for lengthy periods of time, but now I don't have to. Because the installation technique was so simple, I was able to swap out the old battery with the A1964 Replacement Laptop Battery in a matter of minutes. It arrived with all of the equipment and instructions that were required, which made the do-it-yourself installation process quite easy. Since a few weeks ago, I have been making use of the A1964 Replacement Laptop Battery, and it has not let me down in any way. It has constantly operated well, providing a reliable power source and outstanding battery life, much like the battery that came with my MacBook Pro when it was first purchased.

Last year I bought an E Egoway battery for my MBP and after about 8 months it started to have strange issues. It progressively got worse until it was totally useless and prevented use of the comp even when plugged in. Just replaced it with this battery, and computer now works like brand new. Installation is not easy but doable if you take your time and follow the directions. This battery came with everything you could need (except maybe a bottle of rubbing alcohol) to do a pro installation. Been 24 hours, and battery is great.

The replacement battery is great! Others have written that the plastic tools they give to use as a lever to break the glue seal on the bottom of the computer and old battery are very flimsy. They kinda are but they are not meant to be used as a pry-bar. If you watch the video it clearly shows the proper use it to push them in to release the pressure; not use it to pry up the battery. Also, the enclosed written instructions show you how to use the tool and drip some alchohol down the tool so it goes under the battery to help losen the glue.The fact they give you every tool you need is great! Be careful though as there is a normal screw driver outside of the battery compartment that can NOT be used to take off the case screws. All of the proper tools are inside with the battery. Having a screen protective cloth and rubber gloves was also very well thought out. Seems like they do things like Apple does - they think of everything for the user experience.The replacement was pretty easy - if you're comfortable with this sort of thing - and the instructions and video were great. Reassembled and plugged it back in and it immediately powered back up at 75% or so. It shows fully charged in about an hour.If I get any adverse reactions to power usage/charging, I'll report back but so far, works great.

Lasted less than a year. No longer holds a charge, need to replace again.

Not a battery swap for the feint of heart. That said, following iFixit website, can be done.Battery capacity as good if. It better than OEM

Not very happy with this new battery. It only hold a charge for 3 hours. That is about what my five year oldApple battery was able to do. When the Apple battery was new it would hold its charge of for most of the day. That is what I was expecting for this replacement. The installation was very easy, it took about 45 minutes.

The replacement battery is great! But the plastic tools they give to use as a lever to break the glue seal on the bottom of the computer and OG battery are very flimsy. The bend super easy and so did not work well letting up the old battery. Also does not come with a solution to resolve the glue attaching the old battery so I used rubbing alcohol which worked alright. Over I’m happy with it.
