These are nice quality and offered some compression but work best for smaller or lightweight items. Not a great solution for bulky items like large adult sweatshirts unless you pack them separately. If you overfill the bag you lose the compression.

I bought the 6-pack and have used them consistently for my trips. The material is thick and has mesh that you can see what you put in it. Once you fill the bag, you can compress it without difficulty. Some people may use each bag for each outfit, but I use the bags the way most people use it. The bags are different sizes, so I use one for pants and shorts; one for tops, one for socks, one for underwear, etc. I try to travel minimally, so if specific clothes don`t fit in their intended bags (pant in the pants bag, tops in the top bag), I don`t take it. The bags have helped to not overpack.

These are my first packing cubes! I love the way they separate the items, they keep your clothes clean (not just open in your suitcase) But the best feature is how you can use the 2nd zipper to "compress" the items to a more compact space & fit more into your suitcase! You can also stuff them full & the 2nd zipper stays open to allow greater storage space & expansion! (works either way!) I just traveled on an airplane with these, & felt like when customs opened my suitcase, it kept my items tidy, covered & not exposed to dirt or germs, but mostly allowed me to get a lot more into my suitcase! When I got to our destination, I unzipped each cube & just put the whole thing into the drawer, which kept all of my items folded (or rolled) & didn't have to refold anything! Anything not worn, stayed neat & ready to pack back up in a breeze!! **Added bonus: on the way back home I packed my dirty clothes (rolled up) in my main suitcase with the new cubes keeping my clean items separate & easy to tell what was clean or dirty! I thought that all the packing cube craze was a trend for people who had too much money and time on their hands, but I've really changed my mind!! Love them!!

First time I've ever used packing cubes and found them to be very useful for staying organized. They also helped me get away with only carry-on luggage! The zippers worked well and I had no issues with seams coming undone; I knew enough to not over-stuff them. The only issue I had was I'd have preferred 2 smaller bags in lieu of the largest bag but that is just personal preference.
