Strathmore (433-5 400 Series Printmaking Pad, Heavyweight, 5"x7", White, 20 Sheets

I bought this printmaking paper to try the technique of boiled ecoprints, using leaves and other botanicals to make art prints, which I then use for greeting cards. Literally you boil the paper and leaves (sandwiched together in a bundle and tied with twine, video tutorials abound) for about 45 minutes. The 100% cotton allows dyes and pigments to be absorbed, and as you can see from the drying prints, the paper does not fall apart . It is very good quality printmaking paper. I have tried this technique in past years using watercolor paper, mixed media paper, heavy cardstock. This is definitely superior.

Had not known the difference between heavy and thin paper for printing.The heavyweight is SUPERIOR!Will not use thin paper again

Ditto - the paper is exactly what I needed. Where I live it is not that easy to find some things and that is why I love Amazon because it seems to have everything and they don’t mess up the town with stores full of stuff whose employees get paid as little as possible.

the paper from Strathmore is great, US to DE but when the package looks like it has been thrown down the stairs a few times and one corner is damaged, it's perhaps time to rethink packaging strategy?I'll try again in a few months and see if this route works.

The best paper I've bought for painting acrylic so far! It only comes with 15 sheets so I don't use it until I'm sure I have my painting ready and set to go and I know it's going to look good so I don't waste the "good" paper! LOL

J'ai enfin trouvé le papier pour mes œuvres au crayons couleurs. Je peux mettre plusieurs couches avant d'obtenir la saturation.

Compré éste papel sin conocerlo, para imprimir grabados al aguafuerte en placa de cobre.Quedé muy satisfecha con el resultado.El tamaño es perfecto, capta las líneas muy bien, y se comporta muy bien con acuarela.
