Worked for my first time pickling in my fridge. I’m a beginner and these are a cheap reusable item. They are light and won’t rust like if you want to replace the lid with this thing as well.

These fit wide mouth jars perfectly. I love that they’re one piece, dishwasher safe, easy to use, work well, and cute.They’re made for pickling, so with enough internal pressure, gasses can escape from the little flaps at the top. You could probably fit a straw through the opening too.I use these as a plastic free storage solution and mainly have fruits or leftovers and the seal is enough that nothing dries out in the fridge.

Work great/ they do lift a little with the buildup of fermentation so you need to remember to “burp” them.Does retain some of the smells in the silicone.

Canning made easy

I really like these for my sourdough jars. They are easy to clean and fit really well in the better than bouillon jars I prefer. They are slightly wider than wide mouth canning jars, which these also fit in, just rather snug.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Used to create a ginger bug and it worked like a charm. Also was available at a great price.

Bought for my husband, he loves that he can make his own fermented things, I'm thrilled he's happy

I like that they fit in the jar opening and don't need to be screwed on/off. Just press the top to vent. Easy. So far, so good!
