False advertising: cannot select color via Alexa
This thing's pretty good. It does connect to wifi and operate easy enough. I got it so I could integrate it into Alexa routines, which is do-able. The design and functionality seem good.My one complaint is one advertised feature that it simply doesn't have - the ability to select color of the light via Alexa. For example "Alexa, set the diffuser to blue". It's incapable of this. Even the instruction manual says so (but says "we're working on it"). Spoiler alert, they're not working on it, because there's been no firmware update. The issue is with the hardware. Whenever the diffuser light is turned on, it's automatically on the "cycle through the colors of the rainbow" setting. To set a solid color you either have to press the physical button on the device to 'pause' the cycle on whatever color you want (difficult to do, btw), or open the phone app to select the color from a color wheel. This setting is NOT saved. You have to select the color each and every time you use the device. You can't turn the light on to a specific color - only to rainbow, and then must select your color from the rainbow. So if you want seamless, automatic Alexa functionality, your only color options are no color (light off) or rainbow cycle. So not quite what I'd intended, but hey, I can integrate it with my Alexa routines to turn on before I arrive home and turn off when I leave or go to bed, and it's got enough capacity that I won't have to refill it on a daily base - maybe once or twice a week, so I'm keeping it.

Nice little machine, but keep it clean
This is a nice little machine and not very expensive. I've never owned an aroma therapy machine before, so I wasn't sure how to use it. Here is what I've learned...1) don't use too much oil or you'll clog up the diffuser and the stream will stop working2) if you did, like me, put in too much oil and clog up the machine you can bring it back by simply cleaning the machine with a mix of distilled water and vinegar.3) the instructions said both 1 and 2, so I guess it's good to read the instructions.

I really like this model
Just turned it on and it was easy without reading the instructions. My last diffusers button's which are on the side of unit and got sticky from regular usage and they stuck so bad I couldn't turn it on and off. I tried to clean them to no avail. I can appreciate the remote of this unit so the buttons will not get stuck. Maybe it will last for many more years than my last one. There appears to be a lot of adjustments on the remote. I can only hope it doesn't disappoint me late on for now I will give it 5 star rating. I do recommend this unit though it's a little more costly I believe it's well worth the few bucks.

ASAKUKI Essential Oil Diffuser Review
ASAKUKI Essential Oil Diffuser & Water Humidifier Review: A Solid Choice for Aromatherapy and Gentle HumidificationThe ASAKUKI Essential Oil Diffuser with Mist and Normal Water Humidifier aims to be a versatile device, offering both the aromatic benefits of essential oils and the subtle humidification of dry air. After using it for a while, I've found it to be a reliable and aesthetically pleasing addition to my space, though it has a few minor points to consider. The Pros:* Effective Essential Oil Diffusion: The ASAKUKI does a good job of dispersing essential oils throughout a room. The mist carries the fragrance effectively, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The intensity of the mist can usually be adjusted, allowing you to control the strength of the aroma.* Gentle Humidification: While not a heavy-duty humidifier, the ASAKUKI does provide a noticeable level of gentle humidification. It's perfect for smaller rooms or personal spaces to combat dryness, especially during colder months or in air-conditioned environments.* Multiple Timer Settings: The inclusion of various timer options (e.g., 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, continuous) is a great feature, allowing you to customize the diffusion and humidification duration to your needs and conserve water.* Automatic Shut-Off: A crucial safety feature, the automatic shut-off function activates when the water tank is empty, preventing the device from overheating or running dry.* Quiet Operation: The ASAKUKI operates very quietly, producing a gentle, almost white-noise-like sound from the mist. This makes it ideal for use in bedrooms, offices, or during meditation without being disruptive.* Pleasing Aesthetic: The design of the ASAKUKI diffusers is generally quite appealing, often featuring a clean, modern look with wood grain accents or smooth, minimalist shapes. Many models also include optional LED lighting with various color options, allowing you to create a relaxing ambiance.* Easy to Use and Clean: Filling the water tank and adding essential oils is a simple process. Cleaning is also relatively straightforward with regular wiping down of the tank and occasional cleaning of the ultrasonic plate. The Cons:* Humidification Power Limited: If you're looking for significant humidification for a large room or to combat very dry air, the ASAKUKI might not be powerful enough. It's more suited for gentle, localized humidification.* Water Tank Capacity: Depending on the model, the water tank capacity might be on the smaller side, requiring more frequent refills, especially if you're running it continuously for extended periods.* LED Light Brightness (Subjective): While the LED lighting is a nice touch, some users might find certain colors or the overall brightness to be either too dim or too intense, depending on their preference and the specific model.* Durability (Varies by Model): While generally well-received, the long-term durability can vary slightly between different ASAKUKI models. Reading specific reviews for the exact model you're considering is always recommended.Overall:The ASAKUKI Essential Oil Diffuser with Mist and Normal Water Humidifier is a solid and reliable device that effectively combines aromatherapy and gentle humidification. Its quiet operation, multiple timer settings, automatic shut-off, and pleasing aesthetics make it a popular choice for creating a relaxing and fragrant environment. While its humidification power is limited and the water tank capacity might require occasional refills, its core functions are performed well. If you're looking for a stylish and easy-to-use diffuser that also provides a subtle boost of moisture to the air, the ASAKUKI is definitely worth considering and is very affordable.

Easy to use, lasts a long time
This has lasted overnight. The lid, for replacing water and oil, comes off easy, unlike my other brand's diffusers. Controls are self-evident; Could use a little bit darker marks to indicate the levels of water to fill it with. Can be operated with the controls on the unit if you don't want to bother with the remote. Very pleased. To answer someone's question, when you turn it on, then it beeps twice and shuts off, that means it is out of water.

My office smells like a spa now
This diffuser is a game changer. It’s quiet, easy to use, and the mist lasts for hours. I add a few drops of lavender oil and suddenly I’m way less stressed and feeling fancy. Bonus points for the color-changing lights—total vibe. ASAKUKI, you nailed it!

I like it a lot
I needed to get a humidifier because my cat is having allergy and lung problems. The first one I got was a different brand, good for a week, then leaked all over my antique table. Compared to that other one, this one is perfect it has been running almost non-stop for the 3 weeks with no issues at all.
