I really love this umbrella. I thought it looked interesting from the photos but I couldn't quite picture how it would work, so I ordered it and I am SO Glad I did!! This umbrella performs as advertised and is really AWESOME for keeping me DRY. First of all it only requires a gentle touch to push it into place, and folds up quickly. Additionally, it really did keep me dry and was simple to release and fold down even while getting into the car. I also stayed remarkably dry because of the “inside out” design. I found the unique handle design to be portable as I could loop it over my wrist and it was pretty effortless to carry along. I also like the design I got. It looks like the evening sky while closed and in the open position, it’s basic black on the outside and the evening sky is inside over my head. The size of this umbrella is generous for one person without being ginormous like a golf umbrella. So far, I have used this umbrella in torrential rain, but there hasn’t been much wind when I have used it. Please note: This far I have not been able to stabilize the umbrella open while looped through my arm and walking, but in time I might be able to get that to work out. Am, I glad I bought this umbrella? Yes. Would I be looking for a like replacement if something happened to this one? Yes. Would I buy again or recommend to a friend? Yes to both! If you are thinking about getting this, let me just tell you, I think you should!

The umbrella is cute for sure, but it doesn’t really meet my needs. It feels a bit flimsy when you open it (like it won’t stay open), which is a bit disconcerting when you live in the Windy City... but to be fair, I’ve been too nervous to try in very windy conditions. Also, could be just me, but opening this umbrella feels a bit more cumbersome than opening a regular umbrella.Also, I guess I never considered the fact that, because this umbrella is inverted, if you walk around in the rain with it closed (if, for example, you’re just running to your car... or it’s just drizzling and you’re too lazy to open the umbrella - is that just me?), the inside gets wet. That’s clearly my bad for not realizing this logical consideration. Overall, the product is very cool, and maybe I just have high umbrella standards.

I used this umbrella twice before one of the tips simply broke off. I noticed it was bent when I opened the umbrella for the first time, so it arrived defective, but I thought it would last longer than two uses. Worse, it broke during a fairly light rain without wind behind it. One would expect even the cheapest, least well constructed umbrella to have no problem with light rain and almost zero wind. I think the metal of the ribs must be brittle or something, because the first time I opened it up the ribs didn't function smoothly. I have this type of umbrella from another company and it works just fine so far. Therefore, the concept for these car umbrellas is fine, it is the execution by this particular brand that is questionable. The umbrella was relatively inexpensive, but I'd have been better served with one of those cheap little compact umbrellas that cost five or six dollars. I've never had one of those last through only two uses.

UPDATE: The issue was addressed by the seller and a new umbrella sent out. They both work great and the spokes touching the ground hasn't been an issue. The spokes touching the floor while drying can't be good design or help with the longevity of this item. So far it has held up in the rain and with some serious wind today. I'll update as I go!

There was not wind. It was just picked up to use it.

Bought this for my GF and it hasn't rained a drop since she got it. What we see we do like. The handle is awesome leaving both hands free to hold other things. I liked the star pattern. Cool looking and functionally awesome

I love it BUT it's not as advertised. The picture on the inside does not look as detailed as the picture leads you to think it would be.

My umbrella is amazing! It folds easily and is pretty compact. It looks amazing while doing a great job keeping the rain off. The c curve handle is so helpful when carring other things. Love it!
