Impressive
Very easy to install into a westinghouse bendan fan after removing the whole original led and heatsink. The magnets are a great feature, just click onto meta base, connect via quick block, job done. Does not dim, like original but seemed pointless anyway.

convert existing compact fluorescent to led
The module has magnets on the rear but I couldn't rely on them as the incoming cable from ceiling tended to push against the magnets .So drilled through the three blind holes and used self tap screws into the steel fitting housing.light output is good.Would recommend, quality is good, number of ways to secure.

Great Replacement Bulb – Not Dimmable
This replacement bulb works really well — it fit perfectly and gave off a nice, bright light right away. It’s a great option if you just need something reliable and straightforward. One thing to note: it’s not dimmable, so if you're looking to use it with a dimmer switch, this won’t be the right fit. But for regular on/off lighting, it does the job without any flickering or delay.Overall, I’m happy with it as a solid replacement. Just make sure you don’t need the dimming feature before buying.

An Excellent Replacement LED unit to fit inside existing light fittings
We have student properties where LED ceiling lights are necessary for 'green' and economic reasons. In our experience, different manufactured LED ceiling lights have not lasted as long as we expect, and the replacement LED plate is simply not available when the original fails. This has meant replacing the whole unit, and binning/recycling the fitting - not good at £100+ when one adds electrician time on site. Here is a straightforward universal replacement LED plate which just needs to be connected to the mains supply in the light fitting. We discovered that improvisation is needed to fit the new plate - they suggest magnets but screws are more secure and any length needed. The LED is a daylight white, not warm white - and that's fine for us.The 18 watt does not give quite the same amount of light as the original 18 watt plates (the electricians tell me these new units use an older and less powerful type of LED, nevertheless they are impressed by the unit with its CE compliance). The 24 Watt is a perfect replacement for 18 watt originals.I will amend this review if they fail after a short time - but at this point we are delighted with the result and the economic saving and recommend you give them a go :-)

Not good enough.
As with all these so called green and efficient devices, Its a nonsense. After 9 months the unit has failed (again) my old GU10 lamps lasted over 10 years and while they used more energy the total cost of ownership was a fraction of owning these so called green LED items as they just don't last, I have little doubt the LEDs are fine but the poor quality power transformer will no doubt have failed.

LED light fitting
Fitted this to a ceiling fan that the existing light brightness wasn’t that great. This helps to replace that problem. But the quality of the fitting isn’t great. It is not like the original, insofar as the plastic to metal fitting, which provides magnetic clips to the underside of the fan’s original concept. It does not want to replace up in the light fitting due to the wiring clip provided. It’s too heavy for it for the size of the magnets. Needs a rethink of the magnets to work properly.

Updated an old halogen hallway ceiling light to a modern LED unit
Modernised our hallway ceiling light to an energy efficient unit without having to purchase a replacement item. Very bright illumination. We are pleased that we can keep the original unit as we love the style and design.

VERY FIIMSY WIRE
it's an array of LEDs in a panel with a built in current limiting driver. I didn't think to take a picture of the module itself before e closed up the fitting. Basically strip out the ballast and stuff and wire it directly in. There was a "fuse" in the original connector, that black block, can't do any harm to keep it in the circuit, and it might still do something useful if it goes wrong. The actual connecting wires are VERY THIN, I'm pretty sure they're "adequate" because of that current limiting driver, but probably not much better. I had to fudge a connection with the cheepy Chinese connector, because they just wouldn't stay locked in the standard screw clamp. The light is definitely at the cooker end of the spectrum, compared to the original tube. There are other, possibly better modulees, but with the light OUT, there was a degree of "just get it done" as well as, certain budgetary considerations. If I had my druthers there are units that seem better, but there's probably not a lot in it, and there's certainly something to be said for having a light that just WORKS!
