I got this product as listed. I haven't really use it that much, but I think that so far it works

Not all plug ins are free
Its a really good software but its telling me that the free trial version has come to an end I don't really get it if I bought the CD. And I couldn't get the autotune plug in so that's that I mean pretty easy navigation and all it's just that sos someone

Good Interface to features
Access to the most common features is intuitive. Definitely more so than other software I've tried. I was able to compose some music after using it for an hour. Obviously, it wil take longer to take advantage of all the features. I did find getting access to the included loops was confusing. I had to go to the Help Menu and select a loops download option. The software installation should have done that automatically.

Im so happy my boss reminded of this I was stuck trying to use this new stuff but I love this set up waaay better!!!

Good home studio
Use it for laying down guitar riffs and building songs. Pretty easy once you learn where everything is.

This didn't work out.
It crashed my PC twice. I have Windows 7.Program froze on me mid recording session.I returned it for a refund. They approved it.I uninstalled it and deleted every remaining file and registry associated with it.Now my computer works like it always does... with no issues. I miss my Cakewalk Home Studio 2.0.

Works pretty good but doesn't come with loops and beds
The cd labeled Loops is just another installation cd. Sent the company an email about it and the never replied.

Magix does it again, thank you. Probably 5 stars once I get used to it.
Music Maker 12 worked very well for me years ago and Music Studio 10 is even better. This is very friendly software for someone who wants to record at home. I realized that times have changed. Earlier this year, I bought a DI box with a free download of other recording software included, that was very nice, but has way more bells and whistles for a guitarist of my age to learn. I want to play guitar, and not be a recording engineer. Studio 10 is very intuitive and easy to grasp after just a few hours of experimenting if you're not experienced at recording. I've just begun with it, and I know with a younger brain, this software has a lot more potential. The help section is well done.
