One of those tools that makes the job so simple that you'd almost think you didn't need it. Just get it and save the risk and hassle of breaking the flywheel.

The product does what is says, BUT, you need to make sure the screw heads are oriented inside the cutouts on the bracket. Otherwise you may not get enough purchase on the threads of the flywheel. Ask me how I know. Just a quick minute of sliding off the o-rings, put the screws down in the recessed area and replace the o-rings. That will make sure you have good purchase on the flywheel. Then it works like a charm.

Works very well

Would not work pulling the flywheel on my Stihl MS 361. Bolts are too short. I ended up purchasing the Stihl tool (works great) and the difference is there are slots cut into the top of the bar to recess the bolt heads and allow the bolts to engage the threads on the flywheel much deeper. After seeing the two tools side by side, a trip to the hardware store for longer bolts would have solved the problem, but our hardware store is in the process of changing vendors and their nuts and bolts selection is pretty poor right now.
