You probably have a "JIS" type battery terminal. Most older Japanese cars were fitted with JIS terminals. These are smaller than the standard SAE posts found in almost all cars today. You'll need to find a JIS to SAE adapter and these terminals will work fine. The adapter will be a lead sleeve that will slide over your current terminals and accept the Fastronix Battery terminal end. Hope this helps!

Q: Is this for a smaller terminal post ?

There are two sizes. Fastronics #405-003 is for Negative Battery Terminal, and is the smaller of the two. #405-004 is for the Positive Terminal, and is the larger one. I hope this helps.

Q: Can I get this for larger cable?

Fastronix battery connectors are excellent to use, but you will have to check with the manufacturer to see what size is available.

Q: can this be used for negative cable end to connect on to battery post?

It should work. Though you will have a mismarked post terminal, so my recommendation would be to erase that positive marking (+) and mark it in a way you nor anyone else may connect it by mistake to positive in the future. There's an identical item adequately marked for the negative post, you should better buy that.
