I had originally planned on only using the magnetic holder because I honestly didn't expect quality knives at this price point. However, I'm pleased to find out how very wrong I was. These knives have been used daily since I received them. They cut well, retain their edge, and the various sizes make them perfect for every task. Naturally these aren't top of the line quality but for normal kitchen tasks they're perfect.

Looks great not very sharp though.

I bought this as a gift for my son, and I actually helped him prepare a meal tonight using several knives. They seem to be very sturdy and sharp, and I was comfortable using them. He didn't indicate having any issues himself and is happy with them.

This is so pretty and elegant. Love how it's magnetic. How sweet it that!

Its nice, just the rubber on the handle feels cheap, and the chrome part is plastic so hand wash them.

I have 2 if these knife blocks. I use them in my craftroom for my most used dies. The knives work...the handles are crappy but I took them to work for our community kitchen.

Great set but very sharp

The knife block is very nice. The knives on the other hand , are crap. As good or better, can be bought at a dollar store. I will be picking up better quality knives to use on the block. I am very happy with that and, really, that's all I was originally looking for. So the block 5*, the knives 1*.
