Q: Are these shelves smooth on the back so I can mount with Command removeable tape?

As long as the items you stack on it weigh cumulatively lower than the suggested weight limitations for the Command tape, you should be OK. I use mine as satellite Speaker shelves for my sound system/Home Theater, so I mount mine with screws.

Q: How much weight can these hold using VHB mounting method?

I cannot find a weight limitation for the floating shelf but once you adhere it to your wall/surface, you get a feel for how strong it is. I adhered mine near my head and bed for a Buffbee White Noise Sound Machine. Its dimensions are ‎3.46 x 3.46 x 5.2 inches; and weight is 6.7 Ounces. It feels like a pound or two heavy. It sits on the shelf fine but, if I press a button on the machine, they are located on the top of the sound machine. I would press down and the shelf would slightly bend down too. I was aware of it so would hold my other hand underneath to support the shelf. I would say that shelf could maybe hold something about five pounds heavy, but there is no lip so whatever is on might slide off easily.

Q: How much weight can they hold ?

A few ounces...they are very flimsy plastic.

Q: Is the hole cut-out large enough for a normal power cable (think computer or PS4 power cable) to pass-through??

The hole is about 0.9 in (24 mm)
