These stair treads are stylish and functional without breaking the bank. They are very light weight, but they adhere well to my wooden steps. I swept the stairs and then cleaned them with a wet rag and when they were dry, I applied the treads. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. So far the treads are staying put. I have two teenage boys whose bedrooms are upstairs and they’re constantly up and down the stairs. The treads haven’t budged. The price point is right and the color options are good too. I went with a basic beige and I’m happy with this product.

Get an extra roll of double-backed carpet tape to install these correctly. Otherwise, they are durable and they do a great job on our basement stairs. Not the worlds most fashionable - but I was going for function. They certainly have a nice bit of cush where there was only hard surface before. The non-slip factor is big for everyone in the house as well as the 4-legged, 50 pound beasts that always seemed to be overly excited to go down to see what's in the basement. It doesn't stop them from running, but it has stopped slipping and tumbling. Easy to put in. Durable. Good stuff.

These are good, not the best. They are thin and if not placed at the right spot on the stairs they peel up. The back is a sticky type material, so they can up if you want to wash them. I haven't tried and honestly don't think I would put them in the washer. Maybe the sink.They're not very soft. I think they are overpriced for what they are but I needed something so that my friends dog doesn't slip on the stairs. He's old.

Update: I've had these on our stairs for 2 years and they're still in great condition! No pilling or pulling up in the corners. I haven't had to adjust them ever. Only 1-2 pull up a little when vacuuming, but they go right back down and stick in place.I've had these down for a couple weeks and LOVE them! Our little dog has a hard time with stairs (like falling down when there's no carpet to grip). These were easy to install and I was able to pull them up and adjust them without a problem. It was easy to trim them to fit around our banister too. They get heavy wear between people and animals, and they haven't moved. They are perfect! Our little dog can run down the stairs faster than ever! They have helped with her confidence and safety. Love them!!

I like these step carpet pieces. I like the colors offered. They cut easily & see well made except the y are not adhesive enough to stay down. Needs a bit more stick. Mildly dangerous to catch a shoe or sock on. They work for sure but I feel they need slight improvement. I used these on brand new, flat steel steps that go up to my crawl space. They work fine but I wish they had more adhesive stick to make it more secure for your foot placement not to move the piece.The price seems reasonable. I bought like stair covers before for another set of painted wooeen stairs in a vacation home. They were more adhesive that this brand. This set is low profile but just needs more sticky adhesive. I still like them, kept them & will just be careful. Hoping I do not need to add 2 sided tape though.

These stair treads are so easy to install. Clean the area, peel the clear backing plastic off and install. That easy. Machine washable, hang dry. Makes all the difference when going up and down stairs now. No slips down or even up the stairs.

Size n color matched. Cleaned the painted steps, dried and laid out rugs. Pressed each several times and they are great. Not moving nor slippery.

Love them. My mom as very skeptical due to how they came Folded up. Also they are not “sticky” they just adhere and can be lifted and adjusted. I did wash and fry each stair first. My 2.5 year old and I did my 20 stairs in under 30 minutes. I have 4 curved stairs and they were so easy to cut and line up perfectly. I made a cardboard shim about 4.5 inches wide to set next to the wall so each piece was same distance from each side. They add safely warmth and they actually look good. I bought for safety reasons and like them so much more than I thought I would.
