Calphalon2010434 Nonstick Everyday Pan, Hard-Anodized Aluminum, Black

I love this pan for its heat distribution, scratch resistance, and size. It’s cooks everything every day. I don’t love the lid, however because it’s difficult to lift off the pan. I bought a separate lid with a bit of a slight dome shape and top handle. I love this pan!

This is a fantastic size for crablegs, chili, stew, goulash, or my specialty, chicken and dumplings! You can use any utensils with this non-stick coating so I don't need to hide the metal spoons when my husband makes his famous hot chili! The functionality of the lid is well thought out for both cooking and storing.

I’ve used every type of pan from stainless steel, cast iron, nonstick to ceramic and I’ve never been satisfied with how they held up. Ceramic pans were close until I noticed that a pin hole in the bottom of the ceramic pan was actually releasing something into the pan. Showed my husband and we immediately threw them out. I purchased a set from this company based on the stackable features but they didn’t have a big enough frying pan in the set so when I saw this one I purchased it. The only negative i can find is they are very heavy but that enables the even heat in the pan. I have fried and baked in this pan, put it through the dishwasher once or twice when I’ve had a lazy moment but throughout it still looks brand new and cooks fabulously. This has been the best set I’ve owned in my 50+ years. Yes I recommend this pan to everyone

This 12qt stock pot perfectly complements my Calphalon space saver pan/pot set. Lots of room for soup and stews. Lids are interchangeable with other pans. Love this Calphalon pan/pot style. Can’t go wrong with the quality and the price. Price on Amazon was lower than on the Calphalon website! Love love love.
