Great lid for nitro cold brew!
I use this lid for kegging my nitro cold brew in both 2.5 gallon and 5 gallon kegs. Works perfectly. Much easier than force carbing that involves rolling and shaking the keg over several days. I can keg the nitro cold brew and drink within 20-30 minutes with this.

Surprisingly it works!
I was skeptical going into this but it actually seems to carbonate the keg faster and you can hear it in operation. The only downside is that the mfg. stated that the aerator tip is not to be sterilized with chemical solution like the other parts of the keg operation, it would need to be boiled each time. Well it is held on to the hose with a barb and hose clamp. So it is a major pain to disassemble it each week and re-boil the tip. It really needs a quick disconnect.

Check relief valve seat threads!
The pressure relief valve popped out of its housing after 4 uses. I could not get the valve screwed back in to irs receptacle. Upon inspection, I discovered that the receiving hole had very shallow threads that did not match the thread size on the valve. I was able to install the valve in another Cornelius keg lid without issue. I have also reconditioned many Cornelius kegs, so I know what I am doing. This was a manufacturing defect that slipped through QA. The lid is nonfunctional without the relief valve.

keg lid works but components missing
Open the package and realized that the pressure relief valves threads were deformed and I was unable to fix them. Luckily I had an spare from another Keg so I was able to use it. Other than that the system seems to work as intended.

Worth every penny!
This worked great for me. I had to carb up a keg before Christmas eve. I put this on Thursday night the 22nd, and by the the 23rd it was good to go. I left it on until the morning of the 24th just for good measure then switched over to my old lid. The carb level was perfect. Here are the steps I took:1. Filled the keg with beer and put the the sanitized carbonation lid on.2. Put my co2 up to 30 psi in the post on the keg to set the lid. Then purged the keg of oxygen.3. Set the co2 to about 8psi until i didnt hear it filling the keg any longer and then removed the co2 line from the keg post and put it on the lids post.4. Set it at 4 psi. Then raised it 2 psi every hour until about 12psi.5. Enjoyed yummy homebrew from my other kegs while letting the keg with the carbonation lid do its job for about 34 hours.6. Purged the keg and removed the carbonation lid for storage. Put my regular lid on and turned my co2 back up to 12 psi. Some notes. I have a manifold in my keezer that splits my lines so I can use my tank on two kegs. I turned the co2 off on the keg that was already at the right co2 level while I set the lid and slowly turned the co2 up to the psi I was aiming for. This did not hurt my already carbed beer in the slightest. Once my keg with the carbonation lid was ready for 12psi, I turned the valve back open on my other keg. The third keg in my keezer is a stout on a separate beer gas system so it wasn't disturbed at all. Hope this helps!

The lid is nice. The stock hose should be longer too
Air leaked out at the base between the stone and metal. It made big bubbles with no air passing through stone. I tried a couple different hoses, tip is defective. The lid is nice. The stock hose should be longer too, it does not go very deep into the keg.

Works great!
Works great! I had a Stout that would not carb, even at 30 psi for a couple weeks due to low head space in the keg. I attached this lid and pressurized for 24 hours at 12 psi, and the beer was carbed perfectly! I'll definitely use this again for beers and ciders that tend to take longer to carb. Grrat product!

Hose clamp issue
4 stars due to both hose clamps the 2 that were shipped in the package were locked up or seized up making them useless, I had my own clamps on hand to use. FYI try turning the included clamps prior to using. The carbonation lid works fantastic it's built well and works as described 99.9% satisfied!
