Works good. Does what it’s supposed to do. It works better than the lights that come on the incubators as well. I like the rechargeable battery. I’ve used it many times already and haven’t had to recharge battery yet. Good price and value for your money.

Great candler to check upon my quail eggs

I was surprised at how bright this little candler is. You can easily candle even brown eggs with this device.Pros: - Very bright - Easily fits in your pocket for portability - rechargeable batteryBe careful: - the battery comes with a little round protector on the flat end that is easy to miss. If you don't remove it, your candler will not work and you'll think it's broken. I didn't see this in the instructions although the instructions are VERY small. I included a picture showing the protector on the end. - The charger shows the battery fully charged even with the flat end protector in place. So this is misleading.

The product looks very nice and I was excited to use it but I couldn't because it didn't come with a battery. :(The description says 1AA battery included. I may have to send it back if I can't find a battery for it.I will update my review.I did find the battery at Walmart. The light is so bright and works great! It is also awesome to use just as a flashlight since it is so bright!

I thought this light was DOA, even after charging the battery I could not get it to turn on. While packaging it to return, I noticed a round piece of plastic/paper covering the negative end of the battery. I removed it, and put the battery back in the light and presto, it works great and is bright as heck.
