The worst thing is to have your favorite watch fall off your wrist because a spring bar fails, this is such a critical component for keeping your watch on your wrist we take special care in the design and manufacture of our spring bars. These Spring Bars by SWISS REIMAGINED are made specifically for us to exacting standards, the body and spring loaded ends are manufactured in marine grade 316L stainless steel which will ensure they will not corrode even in the most extreme environments. The internal spring is manufactured from spring tempered 304 stainless steel which is durable, strong and corrosion resistant. The body of the spring bar is extruded (avoid folded spring bars, they are much weaker and can be identified by a seam on the side of the spring bar) which delivers maximum strength. The spring loaded ends are inserted into the body and held in place by crimping both ends of the body. The spring loaded ends are double flanged which ensures the installation and removal of the pin is a simple and smooth process and will be a breeze with a Spring Bar Jewelers Tool (ASIN:B00DMUOMEU). The body of these spring bars are 1.8mm in diameter and designed to fit a watch or buckle where the measurement between the band attachment lugs is 10mm finally the pin end diameter is 0.8mm. Our spring bars when in place and held by the tension of the spring, are locked into the watch lugs with approximately 4.4 Newtons (0.45kg of force or 1 pound force). For more detailed information please refer to the technical drawings provided in the photograph listing. SWISS REIMAGINED spring bars are available in sizes from 10mm to 25mm in both 1.8mm and 1.5mm body diameter, please ensure you purchase the correct size by measuring precisely, ideally with the Lug Measurement Tool by SWISS REIMAGINED (ASIN:B00RT0D32Q), to verify the correct size required before ordering.

Highly recommendI recently purchased 2 relatively heavy watches and installed nylon bands. These bands use the conventional mounting style like any leather or metal band. (Not the NATO or ZULU style) . The nylon is flexible and therefore is more likely to dislodge the spring pins as it does not support the spring pin right next to the lugs as a more ridged band would. And indeed, I had one of the watches fly off under the shock of an impact wrench. I measured the force of the pins that were used. It was a mere 4 oz. These pins advertise a force of min 1 Lb. This is 4 times the force of the previous / cheaper pins. I measured these pins and found them to exert an actual force of 1lb 2oz. I will not use any inferior pins again based on this experience. Note : you can measure pin pressure by taking a phillips head screw, turn it upside down and insert one side of the pin into the screw depression. Then, using this as a support/guide press the other end of the pin down onto a kitchen scale making certain you do not completely bottom out the pin movement. Or, subjectively, if you can compress a spring pin without really hurting your fingers, its not a 1 Lb + pin.

Perfect Diameter
I needed to remove my dirty watch band to clean it. When I removed the spring bars one of them came out in pieces. I measured the diameter of my spring bars. I saw a lot of "pin packages" offering with a lot of thinner diameter pin. This "set" of pins duplicated my watch's original pin diameter. At two days out I am very pleased with the pins. They came in a beautiful black envelope. The envelope will definitely add value to my watch. I would have preferred an additional two pins over the black envelope. I did save the package label in my watch box for future reference. Getting two additional pins for my next band cleaning would have been nicer.

Fits perfectly!
Seems to be made very well and fits my Tag Heuer perfectly. It looks better made than the original. The sprint tension is firm and strong and moves quite smoothly. Beware that even though it has the word "Swiss" in the title it is Made in China. I know Tags are made in Swizterland but who knows if the orignal spring bars are made there or sourced elsewhere.

Actual color not as pictured....
not even close to being solid deep black, more like dark grey, not much difference between this color and a regular silver color when installed on watch.I was hoping for dark black pins to match the dark black shark link strap, because the pins are seen thru the links (see pic).Otherwise the spring pins seem heavy duty (1.8mm vs regular 1.5mm) and well made, but not worth the high price (not even Swiss but made in China) for two spring pins not as described.Unfortunately, there are no other options on amazon.UPDATE: The seller refuses to acknowledge that the spring pins are not as pictured, blames it on his supplier, and will not even give a partial refund based on providing the wrong item. He is willing, however, to give a full refund if the item is returned, then expects the customer to reorder the item again even though the color will be wrong again....unbelievable!So unless a dark grey/silver is preferred over a solid black color, I suggest to look elsewhere.

I'm happy with the product
Bought these to replace my Women' Anne Klein watch leather band. The original band didn't come with spring bars. Anyway, these are difficult to insert (At first I thought they were too large). I had to buy the tool on Amazon and then it still took some work. Now, that I installed them after a couple of tries, I'm happy with the product.

316 SS is very good stainless. As a sailor I know
Expensive for 2 pins or I would give it 5 starts. 316 SS is very good stainless. As a sailor I know. It fit my Casio G-Shock 3050 so tight it would not go in. I drilled the hole another 1/1000 and it fits perfect. This watch fell off my wrist (an into the boat) twice. Too expensive a watch to loose in the drink. I hope to never have to buy another set for this watch.

Not true in color
Seem to be well made but wouldn't actually know as I didn't try them since these spring bars are not really black but more of a dark grey or tarnished silver. I needed a true black and If you need the same as me, this isn't it. Time to like elsewhere.

Appears to be good quality
These appear to be well made and it is obvious when examining them that they are quite intricate so not cheap or easy to manufacture. I used them to repair a Mickey Mouse spinning keyring that my six year old grandson purchased in Orlando. The original spindle had broken and I replaced it with this and it works a treat. Note: I used the 1.8 mm for the Micky spindle and drilled Micky spindle hole to 2mm. I think the 1.5 mm version would have worked fine without drilling. Grandson is well pleased.

Expensive but they work.
Had a Tissot that was loose/rattling on one side of the bracelet at the endlink. Turns out it was using a standard width springbar where these are slightly thicker and stopped the loose rattling I had.

Swiss Chinese!
They work as they are supposed to, no more no less. Interestingly they are called Swiss remained, I would imagine the ploy there is for you to this of Swiss watches, the best in the world. Written directly under "Swiss Imagined" on the packaginf it says--made in China!

A bit expensive but good.
These springs are very strong and consequently difficult to fit. Once in position they should be reliable for a very long time. You will need to use the tool ( available from Amazon) to assist fitting. They seem expensive but if they secure my Omega watch they will be worth it.

Outrageously overpriced
Just buy the box that has 20 of each size from a very small size to a very large size. It costs the same as this pair and although these are slightly better made the difference isn't really very noticeable.
