Q: I have two laptops lenovo thinkpad t14s and hp 14-dq0034dx. will this dock work on either of these?

The ThinkPad T14s (14”, Intel) slim laptop states it has a "USB-C Thunderbolt 3" port, which should also support DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery to make it compatible for the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station. The HP 14-dq0034dx states it only has "1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate)", does not support DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. So the HDMI or DP video ports, including the USB-C power-in port will not work. This Dock also requires an installation of a driver for the VGA, Mic and the stand alone HDMI ports for proper functionality. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab > "Downloads/Driver".

Q: Does it work with the Nintendo switch and 11 inch iPad Pro 4th generation?

The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station will work on the iPad Pro 4th Gen since it supports a Thunderbolt / USB 4 connector. However, you will not be able to download a driver for the VGA, Mic and stand alone HDMI port. The HDMI or DP are Plug n Play, including the USB's and Ethernet port. As for the Nintendo Switch it may work if you are wanting to add an additional display but it must support DisplayPort v1.2 Alt Mode to transmit audio and video signals via HDMI or DP port. The USB's and Ethernet port may work as well. However, just like the iPad, you will not be able to use the driver. Thank you

Q: Is this compatible with Samsung Dex?

Yes, the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station is compatible with Samsung DeX . However, you must use the HDMI or DP port. Those are DP Alt Mode compatible with devices that support that feature. If using a Samsung device such as a phone or tablet, the VGA, Mic and stand alone HDMI port will not work since it requires drivers and is only available for WindowsOS and MacOS platforms. If wanting to use the DeX mode features only, I recommend the JCC153G (DP Alt Mode required), JCC155G (DP Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery required) or JCA379 (DP Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery required). Good, once it is set up correctly

Very versatile product. Lots of connections for just about any sort of peripheral, including additional screens in either mirror or extended mode, which not all docking stations do. But you need to set it up carefully and read the small print instructions. If you are using it on a Mac as I am, then there are drivers to download and install and permissions to be granted to allow the station to access your display. The docking station also needs to be powered up through the right PD USB C socket and plugged in to the USB?Thunderbolt port of your Mac. Fail to do any of this and it just sits there and doesn't do anything. Set it up right and it is a doddle to add stuff.

2nd monitor laggy and memory card socket doesn’t work

Bought for the dual monitor on MacBook support.Requires additional software which wasn’t too keen on. The second monitor utilizes the Mac screen mirroring like you do with Apple TV. This makes the second monitor laggy sometimes.The sd and micro sd card ports never worked. I’m actually sending it back.

Works with MacBook - m1 processor

Works well with MacBook with M1 processor. I’m using it with 3 monitors (one has to be VGA) but working well. Purchased a separate power supply so I could power 2 x usb hard drives at the same time and charge my MacBook.
