"SUZUGAMI" can be folded and bent to form any shape desired, just like origami."syouryu" is a new product line by "Shimatani Syouryu Kobo". Shimatani Syouryu Kobo was founded in 1909 during Japan's Meiji perood. Since then Shimatani Syouryu Kobo has product variety of metal bells(called RIN. These RIN are found in shrines and temples across Japan. There are only 10 metal craftsmen in all of Japan that are skillful in the special metal hammering technique used to create RIN, and Shimatani Syouryu Kobo has 3 of them! Shimatani Syouryu Kobo is proud of this traditional "metal hammering" technique and is excited to create a new attractive product lines.
