Couch
This was perfect for our sectional with recliners. Most couch handbars must go under the cushions but with recliners you cannot do that. This functioned perfectly

ONE SIZE D
I use my fists to get up off my couch. But I have psoriasis on knuckles now and medicine comes off. I thought this would be good but my couch is deep and when I put this back on my couch the handles are too far back for me to use. If I pull it forward the back bar hurts my rear end and I still can’t get up. You need strength to put this together. I did it but I needed to use a thimble on my finger. It’s way too bulky to take with you to a restaurant and there’s no way to know if it will work on their chairs or booth. I needed to return it.

It works
I needed this for my recliner after having a broken ankle and 3 months healing I lost strength to get up from my recliner. This works well for that . It gave me 2 handles to push up with.

Poorly made, sits crooked in chair, difficult to assemble
It's a really good idea but very poorly made. Holes don't line up, pipes don't fit together, plastic couplers are way too tight, & very wonky when assembled. Terribly crooked... Not acceptable at any price . I ordered a second one n it is slightly better. I'm returning the first one. See photo. CROOKED and one side sits higher than the other. The arms are about 3-4" too short so you have to pull it fwd to really help you stand up. Looks awful, like a 6th grade shop class made it. Seriously overpriced.Feels worse. But it does help you get up out of your too low chair. I put it in my recliner along with a patio cushion. Better than nothing.

Great for knee replacement!
Just got knee replacement. The first couple weeks I had trouble getting out of My overstuffed electric recliner with soft armrests I couldn’t get a good grip to push up.When ready to get up I can do by myself but wife helps by placing this bar unit behind me in chair. A little mushy but gives me the extra grip I need to push myself up out of chair. When not in use place on floor next to chair for comfort.

Sturdy
Not sturdy. It shakes wobbly. Unable to tighten anymore.

so needed for getting off the couch
I needed this for my hip replacement. My couch is pretty soft and this fits well on top and the handles give me the structure I need to stand. A great little invention and it makes it so I can sit in my favorite spot on the couch.
