I use this mask warm out of the microwave every day for my dry eye treatment and it works very well. There are warm spots on the farthest outside edges, but after 20 seconds in the microwave then a few seconds rubbing the mask around before putting it on reduces the warm spot issues I had. It wears very comfortable and has a strong Velcro closure.

Pro- mask was great. Fantastic really nice feel. Very good at helping with eye problem that i have. Gets nice and hot in microwave. And nice and cold in freezer.Pro- i have a big head and i really like the strap so it feels more secure and intense on eyes and also that strap is thick and adjustable.Cons- cannot soak this in hot water and get it warm. You would have to boil the water or something which might ruin the velcrow or melt the plastic. This mask is best kept dry. It feels gross when wet and collects humidity for a few minutes even after you dry it.Major con!!!!!- careful with your microwave time. I have a simple low quality walmart microwave. My mask will not get hot enough on 10 or twenty seconds or 35 seconds. Only warm and that doesnt open eye pores. I always put mask in for 41 seconds and have for almost a month without any hiccups ,and it works every time. today how ever i walked back to retrieve it from microwave and it had popped. I will see if amazon or inerzen will replace this product but im really upset that this happened. It looks and felt really nice and works very well. it sucks that it popped after being in low heat microwave for only 41 seconds.Also mad that i cant just buy a new one. Dont know why the products unavailable but i hope they bring it back this week or next week.UPDATE: Hot GLUE WILL FIX IT!!! back and running again. XD its gonna have to work and ill let you know how it goes. PS> I had a very small pop, i blocked the whole opening and pulled it together with hot glue and the microwave does not heat the hot glue soft since it can not get hot enough to do that in just a few seconds. So yup. Works for now.

This eye pad is made from a material that allows you to steep it in hot water or use it cold from the refrigerator. I purchased it because I had a stye that needed warm compresses and this helped a lot.

Gets very cold. Have not tried it hot. Don’t like that this is a vinyl type material - it’s not comfortable against your skin. Ok if covered with fabric of some sort. The strap is not stretchy. The Velcro closure catches your hair.

I had a small eye gel pack already but I wanted something to put on my eyes after surgery instead of leaky and freezing ice-packs. I put these in the freezer and moved to refrig to thaw a little before using. I padded/Dr instructions with gaze. I alternated between the two and had minimal swelling and DR was very pleased, he couldn't believe the results at my 2 week follow up. I am having another eye surgery after COVID19 and plan on using them again. I recommend them for any eye swelling.

This worked great for about two months, and then one day when I put it in the microwave for 20 seconds, it exploded and burning hot liquid from the inside got all over me. Best to buy the brand recommended by your eye doctor.

I really like this one... I love that the outer covering is SUPER durable - it doesn’t take very long at all to freeze completely & it takes a good hour+ to de-thaw with use - DEF recommend!

I am a big eye mask girl and this one is not bad. It holds the cold for a lot longer than most, so I will start there. I was happy about that. However this one isn't as comfortable to wear to sleep for example. It's rigid and plastic is pokey, so it's not gentle like a cloth or rubber one might be. But the band itself is flat, so you can wear it when you lay down. Just watch out for the Velcro getting your hair.

I really love this Gel eye mask. I purchased two other brands/styles at the same time and this one is my favourite to use. I have only used it cold so far to help with my swollen puffy eyes from an allergy.I highly recommend this Gel Eye Mask:- the gel inside stays pliable when frozen-the velcro strap is great for keeping it in place and controlling how tight or loose you want it around your head-it remains cold longerComparing this mask to the other two I own, this one stays colder much longer than the gel masks that have a clear plastic covering.Product arrived as described and took about two weeks to arrive in the East Coast from the date order.

The Gel pack is already cool enough to start with. This is a great product for it's price. If you're debating somewhere between Super Cheap and Expensive, this is your best bet.
