Seems to be working just fine, looks good.
The only con I see is the stiff bottom part hausing the shortening coil is quite long, so you can bend antenna to half of the length, but not much further. Anyway, it's still a compact solution for backpacking. Didn't do a thorough testing yet, but first tests seem to be promising. This one easily became my #1 handheld antena beating Albrecht Hiflex due to compactness when folded. Already ordered some ultracompact foldable telescopes, so lets see, if this one keeps its rating as my #1.

Extra length CB Radio attena
What come with the B Radio. The arieal contained in box does the trick over 700 to 1000yards. They say upto 1.5 mile range. Standard arieal you get with it when you purchase supposed to range approx 1.5 mile. It does not. This aerial does this in a built up area and at leat 12 miles plus at sea.
