Yes, it works after more than a week!
I was so devastated at first because I thought the battery is not working. My laptop can't read the battery. 'Did everything on my laptop checked and updated but still not working. But I did not loose hope. After more than a week and left my laptop charge for more than 24 hours then finally my battery is charging and perfectly works!

Works on the second try
First battery shipped did not work, very friendly service and quick turnaround of new battery shipped and delivered in days. Works! (for now all looks ok, will update in a week.

It arrived on time, and worked well with our Vaio SVF142C29L. First put in my pc did not see the battery but after second try then it start charge ok. It can hold about 3.5 Hrs.

It seems to work although the battery was completely depleted of charge.
Because it was totally depleted, the computer thought that there was no battery. I had to shutdown, reinstall, reboot after 1/2 hour and then the system handled the battery seemingly properly.

When i installed the battery my laptop didnt immediately recognized the battery but after shutting it down and it is working perfectly.

Great replacement battery!
This replacement battery arrived quickly and is working just fine. It serves well after the original battery would no longer last more than 30 minutes. This new unit gives me around 2.5 hours of use.
