Very nice prayer book for young children. Not totally sold on some of the poems/prayers as it's not necessarily the message we're trying to give our child. But overall very pleased.

My twin boys loved this book so much that they ripped our first copy to shreds when I left it in their room at naptime one day!We're on our second copy and they like me to read several of the prayers to them because many of them are written as if they are poems. Most are short and simple, just what a 2-year-old child needs. They are organized by subject/season and most all are prayers of observation and gratitude. I find myself enjoying them as much as the kids because too often I forget to stop and say "Thank you" to our Lord.This is a great first prayer book to help your children get comfortable with addressing God in a way they can understand.

My son (who is now 19) loved this book as a child. It is my go-to gift for friends having babies or grandbabies! It went out of print for awhile, and I was paying more and more ridiculous prices to get it. SO happy to see it back in print. It's now a smaller size, which I think is actually better for children to hold.

My granddaughter loves this prayer book. My son reads it to her at bedtime.

My son is 2 and he likes reading it; I would recommend it for toddlers; easy reading.

I was looking for simple prayers that I could use with my 2 years old. These seem very trivial. Like: "I see moon, moon sees me, God bless the moon and God bless me." I dont see much point of prayers like that. My girl doesnt even know what the word to bless means and why would you pray for God to bless the moon anyway!?!?"Knife and fork and plate and spoon. May the meal be here soon." - seriously?? Another one: Dear God, please love me, love my sister, love my brother. - why would you pray for God to love you, you should thank God for his unconditional love not pray that He loves you cause he already does! Pointless. And there are 150 pages of those! There are few that are nice. Really disappointing...

I bought this as a Christening present. I had a quick look through and thought some of the prayers were beautiful, others touching but all simple and short which is ideal for the tinies. The picutres were also colourful and attractive, much better than all text for small children I very nearly ordered the Lion book of Prayers but on discovering that it was a paper back decided against it. With it being for a very small child it needed to be hard backed. I hope that the parents will enjoy it too.

this is our first prayer book, my daughter is 4 and so far we've been making prayers up. I find this book helpful and we already have a favourite short prayer we say before sleep. I'm sure we will find the book useful as my daughter grows

This is a lovely little prayer book for a child I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. Beside's being a lovely little prayer book for a child the illustrations are good too. Well pleased!!!!

Sweet little book. Some of the prayers seem a little more like poems than prayers, but nice inspiration for little people, perhaps!

Fantastic first book of prayers, we purchased this for our son as part of a christening present and it is lovely, containing older religious prayers and more modern ones.
