Learn Kanji With Yokai!

Idk what else to say but it won't let me post a review without typing something here

I love this coloring book but when I order a brand new book I expect it to come in pristine condition and this definitely was not. This would be listed as good or acceptable because of the damage to the cover. The artwork is beautiful and is single-sided though the paper is on the thin side. On the opposite side is a summary of the ghost or demon and a place where you can practice learning to write in Japanese its name. I would have given five stars if it came in perfect condition but it didn't. You can't tell from the photo unless you open up the cover or have it in person to see the crease in the top corner as well as on the side. Das Heft bietet eine Reihe der bekanntesten Yokaiwesen zum Ausmalen (rechte Seite) und Schriftzeichen üben (linke Seite). Leider ist die Qualität des Papiers minderwertig und sehr dünn.Die Bilder sind relativ einfach gehalten, aber für den Preis ist das schon in Ordnung.

Very happy with book. The drawings and the concept of learning to write the Yokai's name in Kanji is really a great combination. The drawings alone are worth getting this book for.Unfortunately, the pages are printed double sided on thin paper so you will only be able to use pencils or pastels to colour the images if you don't want to ruin the information on the reverse side of the sheet, and you don't want to do that as there is a little paragraph about the Yokai as well as the Kanji practicing space.For a further look at the book, check out my YouTube channel: Middle Aged Geek Grrrl.

The artwork is mainly based on Japanese traditional drawings. If you are a big fan of Shigeru Mizuki, this book is definitely your cup of tea. You will also find original funny features in some yokais there.
