Each of the essential oils (EO's) in this starter kit are perfect for anyone, especially those who are just starting to delve into the world of EO's and need a base to build on. I am impressed by the strength of the aroma for each one these oils. I compared the scents to those of a few big-name brands and couldn't tell the difference. I found the seller online at www.pureearthnaturals.com and was disappointed to find that there is very little information about the company and the products they sell. I was hoping for some insight as to how long the company has been in business, their background, how they produce their oils, suggestions and recommendations for usage, etc and...well...I'd give the website 1 star and that's generous. BUT...As far as the oils are concerned, I'm very pleased with them.I received this product discounted in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This is a great starter kit – it contains many of the important oils and will open a new hobby for anyone with an interest.For example, when it comes to essential oils, lavender is a must have – and it is contained in this starter kit. For folks new to essential oils, you can add a few drops of lavender to pillows/bedding for its calming fragrance and its invitation to relax. It can also be used for bathing as well – put a few drops in a bath and relax. I have not used it in cooking yet though I have friends who do. You can use lavender to soothe skin irritations as well. It is a very versatile essential oil.The purity of the essential oils in this kit both meets and exceeds my expectations.The next essential oil in the kit that you will never want to go without is tea tree oil. If you are new to tea tree oil you might be surprised to know this oil and many of the others have been used for thousands of years. Tea tree oil is really effective. Some of the many traditional uses for tea tree include healing acne, cold sores, head lice, itchy insect bites, and athlete’s foot. It can also be used for insect repellent … well the list goes on. I use it for insect bites and it relieves the itch immediately.Tea tree oil mixed with lavender essential oil is the perfect ingredient in a homemade wound ointment. Make sure to clean a cut first with water and hydrogen peroxide if necessary, then put on tea tree oil and cover with a bandage to help fight off infections.Once you get into using essential oils a whole new world will open up to you! What a great starter kit of oils! I am really just starting out on my essential oil journey and this set is perfect for me as a newbie. I am very pleased with the quality of the oils.The lavender oil worked well last night in relaxing me and helping me fall asleep. I placed 3 drops on my pillow about 20 minutes before bed and I fell asleep fast!I wasn't quite sure what to do with the eucalyptus oil, so I googled it and found a recipe for cutting through soap scum using it and tea tree oil. Using 4 drops of both tea tree oil and eucalyptus and mixing it with 16 oz warm water did indeed work on the soap scum in my shower! I will be using this mixture from now on and will be ditching the toxic cleaners I have been using!I have the sweet orange oil in a diffuser and my house smells so good. This oil is good for lifting moods and creating a happy feeling. This is why I chose it for my diffuser, hoping to keep the kids in a happy mood for the rest of summer!
