Nice multimeter.
The multimeter is a good value for the price and it works as intended. The screen is large and bright so you are able to read it with ease. For those with "old" eyes, you will appreciate the large display. The only difficulty may be in using it in direct sun, but it should still be readable. I found the buttons to be responsive and intuitive so it enables easy function and lead changes. I also appreciate the nice protective case and two sets of batteries.

Highly Accurate & Feature Rich: Didn't Quite Fit My Needs
Let me start off by saying that for the price you pay, you're getting a very feature rich multimeter that is as accurate as my company issued Fluke 115 when tested side by side. I work as an Electronics Microsolderer and there are a lot of diagnostics being done in my field that can only be achieved efficiently and properly with a good multimeter. I have a work issued Fluke multimeter that is obviously very good at what it does as Fluke is highly regarded as a premium multimeter brand, so much to my surprise when I tested the AstroAI Smart meter up against the Fluke, I found that the AstroAI meter was just as accurate which is a big plus. However, there were some cons that I'd like to see AstroAI address in a future revision that would make this meter an even better and more well rounded choice so I'll list the pros and cons of the meter in its current state.Pros________________- Highly accurate- Cost effective- Easy to read & beautiful display- Large suite of testing functionality- Lightweight & slim (Smartphone sized)- Beginner friendly- Comes with hardshell carrying caseCons________________- No kickstand- Test leads insert into the base / bottom- Analog bar serves no real purpose (It updates at the same rate as the digital readout [3 Samples Per/S])- Measuring Capacitance takes a very long time to get a proper reading (It takes so long that I actually thought the meter was defective for a while when testing it)- No short detected tone / buzzer while using Diode & Resistance modes (This is ultimately what drove me to return this meter as it was a deal breaker for me ๐)- Less than ideal battery life, easily attributed to the large backlit colored display the batteries have to drive- Needing to press the FUNC button to go through the entire list of functions to get to what you need every time (Don't overlook the power and convenience of an analog dial especially if you use a meter and many of its functions a lot; Pro tip - Holding the FUNC button will return you to the beginning of the list AKA SMART mode)- Unable to turn the temperature display on and off even when not using the thermocouplesIn the end I ultimately returned this multimeter and ended up shelling out the money for a more known brand that functions the way I need it to for my job and personal use. If you're a DIY'er or hobbyist just looking for an accurate and beautiful meter that will ultimately get the job done without breaking the bank and my list of cons doesn't apply to your use case then this multimeter is still a great choice on a budget and that's the reason I'm still giving it 5 stars.

Perfectly decent item fairly priced.
It is very easy to use. The (limited) flashlight is a nice add, and the NCV sensor is a big plus for most intended users. No real downside, couple comments. It is an inexpensive meter, most of the cost is in the display, which is "pretty". The specs aren't quite as good in real life as they are in print, but they are fine for everyday use. On mine: The manual range SETTING DOESN'T WORK, but that is OK because the "autorange" button functions exactly as the manual range is supposed to. Claimed accuracy is decent and real world testing indicates the claims are relatively true. Decent entry meter for a non-demanding electrical hobbyist or a young electrician. The NCV tester probably saves lives. Also, fits in a shirt pocket (leads separate, though). I no longer need a lab quality meter, this covers 99% of what the average field electrician does. Doesn't seem particularly rugged, though I've dropped mine a couple times with no harm. Has a B+ rubberized case, which is a plus. Not much of an instruction book, so it's best for someone who knows the basic features of multimeters. Overall a good value, wouldn't expect it to last 5 years in the field, though it would, with care.

Stunningly nice display - Handy features - Good accuracy
I recently had my $400+ Keysight DMM with OLED display go TU. This is my revenge. The AstroAI MUS10KRD is my new "first grab" meter these days. I benchmarked the accuracy and it is bang on. It is very affordable; in fact it is cheap enough that you could snag a couple, one for the bench and one for the garage (or whatever). The leads are pretty good quality and are of the Fluke variety. (Of course I would like some Probe Master probes but it's hard to justify $20 leads for a $45 meter.) The BEST THING ABOUT THIS DMM IS THE DISPLAY. The display is nothing short of FABULOUS --- large, bright, crisp, clear, and with generous viewing angles. The automatic power off can be disabled if you like; a feature that I really appreciate. Durability remains to be seen. Battery life, again, too soon to tell, but no problems so far. The only gripe that I have is the lack of a kickstand.UPDATE: Some folks say the continuity test is slow. It is. BUT, replacing the probes with some Probe Master probes helps mitigate this considerably. Yes, I ponied up $20 for new probes. Also, don't rely on the AUTO mode for continuity tests; use MANUAL mode instead. Works pretty well is you do.

Great meter for the money
I really like the size and performance of this meter. Very easy to use, and the auto function is nice, a little laggy but you can get rid of that by just selecting the proper function. The display is nice, very vivid, but sometimes when I turn it on its dim in certain spots, Iโve determined this happens when it is cold and angling it gives you a better view. Overall I like the feel in my hand, it is more like a smartphone feel compared to my other name brand meters. Definitely worth the money!
