TournaSpecs Eye Guards for Enhanced Visibility and Protection in Tennis, Pickleball, and Golf

Bought these for playing pickleball in an outdoor covered facility that has multiple backgrounds i. e. sunny, green netting, white ceilings. These glasses mute all of those backgrounds and make it easier to follow the ball. The lenses are very high quality and clear. The glasses are lightweight and comfortable. I tried less and more expensive glasses but these were the best value for the money by far at least for this particular purpose.

I bought these on a whim because I needed something quick for playing pickleball outdoors. They arrived prime in 2 days and worked like a charm the first time out. No slipping and the sweat stayed out of my eyes for the most part because no matter what I sweat a lot. The issue started a week later when I noticed the nose piece coming loose and slipping off every 30 minutes or so. Trying to dry it and put it back didn’t help.I would chalk this down to a learning lesson and am looking for glasses with a higher cost and better value. It is a 5 star value for money because it wasn’t expensive in the first place. You get what you pay for.

Have been wearing these for about 3 months playing Pickleball. I play around 3x/week. The tint is perfect- not too dark and they are lighter weight and more snug due to the wrap around design than my regular sunglasses so they don’t fall off during play. Recently 2 people got eye damage from playing the sport when balls hit their eyes. They were not wearing glasses. Yesterday, I received a direct hit to one lens by a banger ball and these babies did the job protecting my eye. (They also did not break). Very thankful!! These are well made. Wear glasses at all times during this sport!

I love these sunglasses so much for tennis and pickleball. I struggled to find glasses I was comfortable wearing on the court. These were recommended to me by a tennis pro. My issue with other sunglasses is that they often messed with my depth perception. These wrap around the face to provide full sun protection, are lightweight and do not throw off my depth perception. Let's be honest, they are also priced extremely well. I bought multiple pairs just in case I ever lose or break one. With the florida heat and sweat, sometimes the soft nose piece pops off but it is very easy to pop back into place and it doesn't happen during play. A number of my tennis friends have also bought them and are very pleased.

I had hoped that the lenses would somehow make the pickleball stand out more or contrast with the background to help me see the ball more clearly. Unfortunately that didn't happen for me. I am 57 and don't see the ball as clearly as I used to when I was younger so I thought I'd give this a try. They made everything a little darker but did not improve the contrast. I'll keep them for driving.

The first pair I bought were fantastic. So I bought two pair this time. The first pair I put on the middle nose part fell off right away so disappointed because I liked the product now it would be a hassle to try to turn in I guess so I just have to give them a bad review.M

I ordered these to provide eye protection when I play pickleball. They are light, comfortable, don't fog up, and have clear vision. They are also relatively lightly shaded so they are even ok in lower light conditions. I still wear a clear set under lights at night, but I could wear these if I wanted. Very happy with the purchase.

These specs perform as advertised. They are comfortable; fit snugly to the face when in use and to my tennis hat atop my head when not in use; and, most important, make the yellow tennis ball "pop" when playing under semi-bright conditions on a green clay tennis court. I have not yet played with these glasses in very bright sunlight, under overcast or hazy conditions, on a blue-surface hard court, on an indoor court, or at night, which is why I rated them at four instead of five stars. I have seen three tints advertised as best to make the tennis ball "pop": Blue, Brown/Amber, and Green -- all NON-POLARIZED (as polarized are alleged to impede depth perception). I own an expensive pair of Switch sunglasses with POLARIZED amber lenses, and find these inexpensive blue non-polarized glasses marginally superior in making the ball "pop." In the final analysis it may boil down to personal preferences. Bottom line: For the price , these glasses are a real bargain. They are now my go-to lenses for my four weekly doubles tennis matches on green clay courts.
